Chapter 3

I told Arrow, or "Alpha" I don't really know his name that I was going to go for a walk around the house to see everything. He just simply told me don't go far and he'll be in his office and out in 10 minutes to check on me.
This is my chance.
I quickly but non-suspiciously made my way down the stairs and realized there were guards by the door we entered.
"Damn." I whispered to myself quickly finding another exit. Each door I opened I became more and more frantic, two minutes have already passed and that guy can run fast. Closet, pantry, closet,closet,closet,bedroom - ooh that chandelier is shiny. Rose! Get yourself back on track! Closet, three minutes have passed now hallway, closet, closet.. Why are there so many closets damn it. Outside, closet, close- Wait! I ran back to the door not caring if I looked suspicious anymore and ran out as fast as I could I ran to the closest road which I knew was about a mile away but I didn't care I ran like my life depended on it, mostly because it did. I ran and ran and ran until I had final,y hit the road with 0 minutes to spare I quickly looked both ways and saw a 99 cent store just up the road and ran to it, man it sucked only being 5'5 I ran to the store and whipped the door open to no avail. Locked. No! I heard footsteps nearing the road and heard "She's over here!"
This can't be happening no no no no he's gonna be even more mad. I was just about having a full blown anxiety attack looking where to go and saw a huge boulder. I ran and hid behind it peeking out a little over the top to see them break through the end of the woods and were now on the road.
I held my breath as he last guard passed the rock I was behind and let out a sigh of relief .
I turned around and lightly closed my eyes
" Phew. That was a close one, wasn't it? They almost had you."
As the silence broke my eyes burst open -Arrow,I screamed as loud as I could I tried to get up to run away and my ankle was grabbed I had to think fast and did the stupidest thing I could do. I kicked him in the face.
" AH! MNM! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" Arrow was rolling on the ground on his back holding his eye that was slowly fading into a purple color.
I ran as fast as I could, not being able to help the pang of guilt I felt as I ran away from him when he was in so much pain.... I kept on running until I realized he was hot on my heals. I couldn't even get another step in before *CRACK* I was harshly pinned to the 99 cent store's cement wall and felt a sharp pain in my back as everything blurred. "R-rose?" Arrow was shaking with adrenaline, anger, and fear. I was paralyzed and everything went black.
