"Layla, wake up Layla!"
Someone is shaking my shoulders. I don't know who it is and I don't care because i'm in the middle of a wonderful dream. The person shakes my shoulders again, so I reach my arm out and slap them. "Ouchhh!! Stop that! You have to wake up Layla."
Oh, now I recognize that voice. It's Jordan. "No, leave me alone." I mumble half asleep.
"Fine then, i'll just leave you here by yourself on an empty plane in the middle of the dessert." I jump up out of my sleep to the word 'dessert'.
"What?! Dessert! Why are we in the dessert?!" I ask confused. My vision is still blurry from sleep and its extremely sunny in this room. I wish somebody would close the freaking curtains!
"Oh just get up and stop acting stupid. You're making a scene, people are looking." Jordan says annoyed. I don't know what the heck he's talking about. people are looking? I blink a couple of times. My vision starts to focus.
Wait, what? Where are we? Omg I remember. We're on a plane going to Saudi. No, wait. The plane isn't moving. Oh my gosh we're in Saudi Arabia.
My heart drops. I'm scared. I don't know whats going to happen next. I get scared when I don't know whats going to happen next in a movie, so of course now. . . I'm terrified.
I stand up out of my seat and look around me. People are looking at us! I turn to my left and slap Jordan's arm.
"Ouch! What was that for?!"
"You didn't tell me that people were actually looking!" I hiss at him in a wisper.
"Wha- I did tell tell you?!" Jordan whispers back.
"Guys, stop fighting." My mom wispers, narrowing her eyes and pointing a finger us. "Now Jordan will you come over here and help me with this suitcase?"
My brother turns to help my mom and I look toward April's seat. She's standing there talking to a little boy. He looks like he's about eight or nine years old. I think he is her brother, he has the same dark hair and big brown eyes.
He notices me looking at them and he smiles at me shyly. Aww, he's adorable! Now April turns her attention to me too. "Oh hey Layla, this is my little brother Scottie."
I walk over to him and shake his hand. "Hi Scottie."
"Scottie, this is Layla."
"Nice to meet you Layla." He says, smiling.
"Nice to meet you too." I say, returning his smile.
"Are you going to be living here in Riyadh?" He asks me.
"Yup. And April said that you guys are supposed to be living not too far from here, so maybe I could see you guys again."
"Yeah, definitely, without a doubt." April blurts out, nodding her head vigorously. "I have to see you again!"
Gosh, I feel so touched! I realize that I have to see her again too. She's like the coolest, awesomest girl i've ever met. Next to my best friend Sky, of course. "Yeah, I have to see you again too." I say smiling.
She walks up to me and wraps me up in a big hug. I suddenly feel the urge to cry. Her hug reminds me so much of Sky's hugs. I hug her back tightly.
Suddenly a voice comes from behind April. "C'mon guys we gotta go!"
April releases me from the hug and steps to the side. A woman (maybe in her mid thirties) with long, dark , wavy hair and big brown eyes is standing there gripping on to Scottie's hand.
