Short Chapter Sorry!

Jackson's point of view
I'm doubtful of my situation. Emily told me she went trough the same thing, and that she found others who've experienced this. Staying with Sam isn't the same anymore. Apparently Jenna had a near death experience too, but when I brought up the subject, she denied everything. Emily offered me a place at her house. Normally I would turn down generosity, but she said she was lonely and honestly I've always felt a little unsure here. I had leftover cardboard boxes from an accumulation of get well presents from my sister which happened to be useful today. My room was on the 2nd story in the back of the house with a four panel window. I conducted myself down the ledge and to the water drain after I threw the packaged boxes to the ground. I desperately reached in my pocket for the address that emily gave me earlier this week. Promising enough, she owned a house in the upper part class of town.
The first few blocks were a drag considering that I was carrying all of my possessions in the hold of just 2 hands. I finally got close enough to start counting down mailbox numbers
5670, 5665, 5660, 5655, and lastly 5650. Her house matched all of the ones around it perfectly. The roof was a dark brown connected by a fluid crown molding. The outside walls were beige with columns of dark wood and Windows covering large sections. As I walked up to the front door, I took notice to the scenery around me. The pathway had uneven stones with a rock garden surrounding each side and a cherry blossom in full bloom in the corner. The door opened for me before I had the chance to knock; it was emily.
"I'm sorry I was going to call, but I was sorta caught up in the moment."
"Don't stress over it, I was expecting you anyways." Wow, she was welcoming and caring, I felt so bad that she had to show that compassion to someone as useless as me.
"I hope it wasn't a problem for your parents."
She looked down for a minute, did I say something wrong?
"Emily... You alright?"
That's when she bounced back up, "Oh yeah of course, there just seems to be a crack in the stone here, what a shame, I guess I'll replace it tomorrow. And what else was I going to say..." "Oh yes and you're not a bother, my parents live in Canada anyways. Basically it's just me and my sister. I must be so rude, I haven't invited you in, here let me help you with that." she said bluntly. I wanted to know more about why her parents left them alone, but It may be personal. After all, I've only just met her.
