Hermione looked over at the balcony and remembered the ball that was soon . The purpose was to celebrate Hogwarts victory but she didn't even feel like going . She didn't think about it much so she pushed it to the back of her mind .She looked outside and decided to look at the sun rise .
Draco felt pressured with Pansy asking him constantly asking him questions on why he didn't let her curse hermione .
"Goodness pansy ! Stop bothering me ! "
" Just give me answers Draco ."
" You're embargoing yourself , you're no going to get answers because there is no problem !"
He felt annoyed and decided to get some fresh air . The first place that popped into his head was the library. He wasn't surprised when he saw Hermione there. He tiptoed behind her and whispered ,"Beautiful isn't it?". She jumped backwards and fell into Draco's arms.
"Ah jeez you scared me !"
He smirked, "That's normal ."
She got out of his arms , "Thank you .."
"For what ?"
"For not letting Pansy curse me "
"I'm sorry ...", he said
She looked confused,"Come again"
"I'm sorry.", he said a bit louder
"For what ?" , He broes furrowed because she didn't know where this was leading
"For everything ...Calling you a mudblood.For letting my aunt -"
"Don't remind me ."
"You've been so nice to me and I don't understand why ?"
"I don't either "
They stared into each others eyes and for the first time Draco realized how warm and welcoming Hermiones eyes were .
"Your changing you know ."
He smirked at her ,"I'm trying ."
"You are ?" , she asked with hope in her voice
"Yes I ... dont want to go back to being bad ."
"But why are you getting sick."
"Ask Luna she knows more than me"
"Hermione ",Ginny asked
"I'm here !"
"I've never seen you smile",Hermione whispered. She ran off with Ginny without waiting for Draco's response.
Hermione told Ginny about her fight with Ron. Then she told her about Draco .
"Do you think he was being sincere ?"
"Yes .. "
"Hermione don't be mad , but do you like him?"
"I think .. I do ..hes just so .."
"bad?", Ginny laughed
Draco was hiding behind a pillar and heard the whole conversation .
He thought ,' I can really bother her now ! '
