Four days I worked to break down the bulwark. Once I finally broke through, with supplies stolen form other ships, all that was seen was melancholy cave, flooded stagnant water. At first I tried to swim through, but, due to my clothes, I was too heavy. Fearing I would get sick and die on a deserted island, because of my wet body, I gave up hope trying to pass through the water. Defeated, I trotted back to my ship.
I was interrupted, however, in my sorrowful walk, when I tripped over the small, lone coracle mentioned before. An idea flew into my head. I picked up the portable boat, and ran back to the cave.
Using the boat, but hitting my head on the low ceiling, I paddled my way to a lone chest. I opened it. Inside lay a lone gold coin.
"I traveled across the entire damn ocean, and lost two crew-members, for a gold coin!" I yelled in the echoey cave.
When I traveled back to the S.S. Peanut, I was ridiculed for going on such a selfish adventure.
"You diabolical ruffian!" The First Mate yelled at me, "You left us! Matt could of died, along with Frost!"
"Frost is dead!" I reeled back in horror.
"He pulled through, no thanks to you! Matt also, surprisingly, is alive. Possibly, if you were here, he would be back on his, um, foot!"
Ashamed, I turned the coin in my hand, only to find a small map on the flip-side of the coin. I smiled a grim smile.
"Well, mate, looks like I'm useful for something after all!"
