TRIGGER WARNING ~ NOT EATING, SLIGHT MENTIONS OF RAPE, MURDER, AND DEPRESSION--

i don't remember most of my younger years; but i do remember one summer when i was 3 or 4 years old. my parents were going on a trip to the states for a "romantic get away" as they would call them. i spent that summer when they were gone at their friend's house. that friend was Mrs. Lester, the widow of the late Mr. Barry Lester.

Mrs. Lester was nice, but there was two problems with her. first off, she was a rude twat. she would make awful accusations about my parents and their families.

one was that my grandmother was a hooker and got gang raped by a group of men dressed in all black. that was apparently why my mum and her mum didn't  know who was the father. later i found out that my grandma had a short term memory when she got pregnant with mum. after she had mum she grew out of it. mind you gran was only 17 when she had mum.

another was that when mum met dad, dad's parents tried to kill mum. the rest of the rumor was that they went to jail for life for attempt of murder and battery. that actually didn't happen. what happened was that mum and dad were dating when my grandparents disproved. my grandparents left to America in the state of Wisconsin to live a life away from horrible rumors coming from Mrs. Lester's family.

the second problem was how she treated her children and me. i was put under the stairs like Harry Potter while her children (James, Micheal, Anna, and Philip) lived in one tiny room. mum and dad were oblivious to the situation since they never knew about how she treated them and the rumors she made.

Mrs. Lester would only give us one meal a day. that meal was always green beans and mashed potatoes. the portion sizes were always small and they tasted bad. when my parents picked me up after they came home they noticed how skinny i got. Mrs. Lester's explenation was that she  was using zero calories and low fat foods. my parents fell for the lie and sent me back every year they would go on trips.

moral of this tale: i'm skinny as heck because of Mrs. Lester and that year, i learned what i took for granted.

How did you like it? I actually tried with this one.
