MLP: A Fluttercord Tail ~ Story 1

The Morning

Applejack was attending to the fields before sunrise, she was just about finished with her first patch when a flash appeared, it was Discord. Discord?! What you doin, if your thinking of turning any of my apples to something like turnips, or squash, I'll have a good piece of mind to. Shhhh!!!!! Discord said with a fallowing yawn. You really had to pick the morning to be alone?! Hey! At least I'm not a no good, lazy! Okay, Shush! I didn't come here to turn your apples into other things...although it sounds tempting. What?! Applejack said enraged. Nothing! I just needed to ask you a question. Okay? Discord sighed. You know Fluttershy best, in her emotional standards at least. Uh...yea? Well...umm....does she seem happy to you? Well. Wait?! Why are you asking this? Applejack asked in suspicion. Well if you must know "snippy". I was on my way for my usual Tuesday tea, when I noticed as I came in the tea wasn't set, not even that pesky rabbit, Angel was yapping at me. He was obviously somewhere else at the moment leaving Fluttershy at her seat, looking as though "almost in tears". Discord turned back to Applejack, who with her head down as if at fault with something. You know don't you? Applejack signed. She hasn't told you? What?! Tell me or I'll! Oh hush up, and listen then! Applejack interrupted. Discord groaned. Yesterday was it not? Yes! Well Yesterday was her mother's birthday. She never knew her. Discord was silent with widened eyes. W-what happened t-to her? Childbirth? Applejack signed. If only...if you really want to know, why don't you ask her? No! Discord shouted loud enough that it scared the birds out of the trees around them. Why not? Applejack said a little confused. Discord was silent for a moment, then he replied in a shaky voice, I'm afraid. Applejack's face started turning red, until finally she started laughing, loud enough for the birds that where left fly out. Shh!! What's so funny! Discord said. Y-you?! Afraid of F-Fluttershy?! Wow! Either you had another fight with her, or your in love?! Applejack replied rolling around the ground. Grrr!! Applejack if you tell any pony about this conversation I will turn you into an apple and feed you to the pigs! Applejack was silent in shock. Y-your in love...with Fluttershy, aren't you? Discord signed. Yes. Sense when? Well after the Grand Galloping Gala I helped drop Tree Hugger, and on the way back to Fluttershy's cottage she kinda fell asleep, and I couldn't help but look at  her with such delight, it was then I realized I was in love with her. I of course woke her up as we arrived. And popped the carriage away. For I was doing it to say I was sorry. And ever sense then I can't stop thinking of how to make Fluttershy happy. Discord looked up to find AJ sitting in utter delight. Aww!! That's so sweet! Okay, so when y'all gunna tell her? W-wait, what?! I'm not going to tell her! She'll freak out! I mean common as friends yea sure, but a couple?! Ha! No way! Why? Discord lowered his head, because I'm not what she'd want. Huh? AJ, look at me! I'm not exactly bachelor material?! Aw, come now Fluttershy has never been bothered by your looks. Yea! Because we're friends! And that's all we'll ever be. Discord said saddened. Look the Suns up, I got to go. Okay fine, but Discord. Discord turned to face AJ. If you don't ask what happened and not try to help her, I'll tell her exactly of our conversation. Discord looked at AJ with utter anger, and a flash popped to reveal him gone.
