Alarms rung all throughout the house as Jasper sprung up from his bed and ran down the stairs, "Oh god!" he repeats to himself. His mother was making everyone pancakes, she sighed and talked to her son, "Sit down klutz, Your father is trying to read the newspaper." Jasper rolled his eyes and laughed nervously as he noticed his stepfathers eyes glancing over at him. His mother soon spoke up in order to break the awkward silence of the dining room, "Heres your pancak-" She was cut off by Jasper, "It's 6:30! It's time to go!" He pushed away the plate, quickly sprinted throughout the house to get ready and soon went out the door, leaving his mother and stepfather in another break of awkward silence. Kaitlyn yawned and argued with her mother about being sick before barging back up the stairs. Bryan looked over at Kristie and smirked, "These kids have mental issues, they're all yours and some other bozo's. Thank god for that" he snickered. Kristie frowned at him, "You know, They're your kids now too. I can't do this by myself," she protested, waving her finger at him. Bryan growled and glanced over at her, causing everything to become once again, silent.

It was Jasper's first day at school, the day he was dreading but yet excited for. On the bus he had met two girls named Cait and Sara who were extremely pleasant towards him, but they seemed to be the outcast group, and he wasn't about to be known in the "loser squad" again, not in this new school.  As the bus halted to a stop, Jasper quickly sprung out of his seat, he was too eager to leave early but he wanted to find his classes quicker and avoid that awkward 'late to class' scenario. As soon as Jasper ran to get off the bus, he was tripped by a senior, and that senior was Grey Robins, the quarterback for the football team. Grey was a nice looking guy, but man, he was as dumb as a rock! Jasper looked up to see Grey, who was now towering over him, laughing his ass off at the new fool below him. Jasper didn't say a word and instead rose up and scurried in to the school like a lost mouse looking for his hole.  Luckily, after all of this he managed to avoid that awkward scenario by being two minutes earlier to first period, and that is where he met his new best friend, Aleks Wright. Aleks was the only one who'd bother with Jasper on the first day, he sat next to him and get this; the dude invited him to a party on his first day of the high school! Jasper was so pumped that he decided he wanted a head start on deciding an outfit and he wanted to figure out some pick up lines to use on those hotties that were sure to be there, so he went home sick to plan.

When Jasper arrived home, his mother was at work and his step father was the only one conscious. Bryan was slumped back in his recliner, flipping channels periodically. "Bry- Dad, I'm home." Jasper forced a smile. "Huh? School let you out this early?" Bryan looked over towards the time on the cable box. "Yeah, Early dismissal, The principal went home really sick and the assistant wasn't here today, nobody could cover" Jasper coughed knowing it was such a bad fib, and went towards the stairs. Bryan shrugged "Sucks for that guy".  Finally, Jasper was in peace, deciding what to wear to an ACTUAL party. Man, he was sure to be one of the cool kids after this, there was NO WAY for him to blow this chance. Was there?

Little did he know, There was a way, maybe even multiple ways.
