The sound of laughter echoed out Aiyana's room as she dried Page's hair with the hairdryer. "All done." she set the dryer on the desk.

"I'm sure Blair has a burn book with our pictures in it." Page said, running the brush through her hair.

"She can have a whole album of me, I really don't care." Aiyana said bitterly. "Page, could you put some music on." Aiyana knew Page was the type of person that kept things concealed in.

"What should I choose?" Page asked running her finger along the purple iPod.

"Anything." Aiyana said. While Page was scrolling for songs, Aiyana heard Emily talking on the phone as she entered the house. "I will be right back, help yourself to my closet."

"Thank you." Page replied happily like a girl trapped in a shopping mall.

She rushed down the stairs towards the kitchen, Emily chucked down a shot of Tequila. "Did you have a hard day at work?" Aiyana looked worried.

Emily was a classical music teacher and she was excellent at it. "No, I'm actually going on a date with some rich guy, he's not all there in the looks department that's why I need this beautiful bottle of Tequila." Emily said pointing at the bottle.

Aiyana wondered why her mother acted this way—like a teenager. "Emily, I have a friend over and I don't think you should go out in that state, I'm actually begging you." Aiyana whispered.

"Oh, is it a guy—I mean other than Leo?" Emily widened her eyes, waiting for a shirtless hunk to walk out of Aiyana's room.

"It's a girl." Aiyana said dryly as she twirled a finger around her braid, a sign of her patience wearing thin.

"Aiyana, are you a lesbian or Bisexual?" Emily said half laughing, half sluggishly.

"Emily, like seriously you couldn't have picked the worst time to get drunk." Aiyana was angry and hurt—she knew that Emily drank because she was lonely, but why couldn't she just talk to her, Aiyana was her daughter after all.

"Okay, I will call it a night." Emily went upstairs wobbly into her bedroom.

"Thank, goodness." Aiyana threw her hands in the air as she walked back into her room were The Neighbourhood's rhythmic Californian beats blared on the iPod. "You have similar taste in music like, Zack." Page walked out the closet wearing a blue floral dress with a denim vest, her Ombre hair hanged like a purple curtain around her nervous face.

"You look smoking hot, I'm sure Leo will be speechless for the first time in god knows how long." Aiyana clapped her hands, being a match maker for other people was fun and exciting. Seeing Aiyana this thrilled made Page feel comfortable.
