Being involved in a car accident made it worse for Ashton. At the age of 14 Ash and her father were involved in a serious car accident. Her father was crushed, and Ash came out with a broken hip and leg. It was hard for her to get back on her feet and start her sports again. She is lucky that her father is alive.
