Abbey went home and I sat on my bed.
"Joshua, your mother and I have to tell you something..." Dad said.
"Okay..."
I went downstairs and sat on the couch.
"Josh this is kind of hard to tell you but... Mom and I are breaking up..."

I nodded and went upstairs.
I closed my door and locked it. It's been three years since they adopted me as a couple. I can't believe this is happening to me!
I laid on my bed and played on my phone.

She sighed and left.
That night I guess I went to sleep because Dad woke me up.

Daniel and I were cuddling, when Abbey came in.
