Jamie and his team checked the tree lines and rocky outcrops. Then hours passed as they hiked through he thick terrain "Hold up." Jamie said then took out his survival knife and pierced a huge chunk of flesh stabbed onto a dead fall limb picking it up. "Matt what do you make of this?" Jamie asked "Well judging by just its placing it wasn't natural causes." Matt said "Jamie look." Larrisa said pointing into the air as a red flare lit the evening sky. "Ah shit now what?" Kate asked. Then Jack took point down the hill as the team followed close behind sweeping the trees with their flashlights for movement. As the orange light faded away and was replaced by crystal light of the stars and the fields light by the full moon the squad came to the river not even two foot deep surrounded by forest and rocky and sandy banks. Jamie saw the dim glowing light of a fire and saw a small tent as they closed in on the camp. As they entered Larrisa even used to the smell of rotting corpses and death fought the urge to vomit as they entered the camp which reeked of death.

"What the hell happened here?" Jamie asked then Jack spoke "Captain I've got tracks." Jack said then a scream alerted the team and they all turned to see a young man late twenties in a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a huge slit across his throat. "Help me." The man cried out then stumbled to fall but Larrisa caught him holding him like a child as the man shook. "Jack get on the net call for emergency airlift now!" Jamie ordered as Jack got on the radio. "Sierra two four, Sierra two four are you receiving?" Jack asked "We got mass casualties one man down he's hurt." Jack said "SHIT!" Jack yelled "What's wrong Jack." Jamie asked tending to the wounded man. "I can't find a signal." Jack said "Its like a jammer is messing with comms." Then Larrisa gasped looking in the mans chest pocket "Jamie look." Larrisa said then Jamie looked seeing a small plastic bag with a white powdery content inside and a small needle injector. "He's doing coke." Larrisa whispered to Jamie "He won't to be able to survive the change." She said as Jamie reluctantly nodded then Larrisa looked at the man. Larrisa hugged the man as if trying to comfort him burying his face in her shoulder and slid her hand to the ball in his neck and in one quick movement snapped his neck and then his lifeless body fell to the side. Then Kate looked in disbelief "What the hell was that for we could have saved him." Kate said "No we couldn't he was using heavy drugs his system was already messed up had he changed his body wouldn't coop and the change would have killed him." Jamie said then a distant howl set the team on edge. "Alright Kate you take point, who volunteers for rear guard action?" Jamie asked "I'll do it." Jack said "Alright you stay here until we're clear then you fall back I'll be there to cover you." Jamie said as they darted across the creek. Jack followed close then found a small incline in the ground behind some stones and he sat waiting for his targets to appear. Jamie ran with Kate in front and Larrisa behind him.

Then the sounds of the wolf howls came closer Jack began to lose his cool becoming very nervous at not knowing of a Lycanthropes capability in which Jamie had encountered long before him and then he heard the splashing of the water and low toned snarls almost impossible to hear. Jack switched on his flashlight which shined red color similar to what coyote hunters used at night but much more power in distance. Then Jack's face went into shock as he saw, four werewolves walked into the camp their bodies were covered in dark black fur, their claws razors, they looked half starved, and the stench even at the distance they was smelled of rotting animals and death. Jack began to pull his gun up then one of the beasts raised his head then sniffed the air. Jack then watched in horror as the one closest to his position turned its head and they locked eyes,its demonic eyes were a amber color as it opened its mouth and let out a god awful roar. "Fuck this!" Jack said knowing that he couldn't hide since they smelled him and with what he knew he couldn't stop them alone and if he stayed he'd be their next meal. So he bolted away across the creek then heard the sound of running feet behind his. Why did I have to play the damn hero? Why did I say I'd take care of them alone and for them to go on! Jack thought as he ran. Then he came into the trees that drowned his view out to his sides and back. Larrisa started to heard the roars "Jamie!" Larrisa started only to see Jamie looking back at her and he nodded then darted off to the left into the trees. Jack ran through the trees then stopped dead in his tracks to catch his breath.

He noticed the sound of running had stopped and it was silent, dead silent. Then a roar came off to Jack's left as a werewolf jumped down at him from the trees on the hill above him. Jack fell back and fired at the beast and it yelped as he rolled under a dead log and ran through the blinding brush. Then as he rounded a large banking he felt something hit him in the face as he fell back looking up to see the long tree limb that had stopped him. Then a werewolf charged him in front as Jack reached for his gun to the right of him, then as the beast went to strike him gunfire erupted turning the beast's side into a bleeding mess as it retreated. Jack stood up to see Jamie standing in the clearing with a smirk on his face "Talk about cutting it close." Jamie said laughing, usually Jack would not respond but in this case he broke into a laugh as well as Larrisa and Kate came off the banking. "You two are such dumb asses. Here we are getting chased by these freaking mutts and you two are laughing your guts out." Kate said in annoyance then heard a raspy breath and saw the werewolf Jamie shot had tuned back into human form. Then Jacks face came into concern as he looked around frantically "Jack what's wrong?" Larrisa asked "I saw four,we killed one where's the other three?" Jack asked then Jamie walked over to the lifeless carcass of the werewolf and saw what seemed like a message carved into his arm. "Son of a bitch." Jamie muttered as he pulled out a small PDA and snapped a picture. "Matt I need to have a message to be analyzed for any matches location, address, anything." Jamie said the sent the image to Matt. "Copy that." Matt said as he received the picture of the message and it said "Club de la lune garou." And Matt went straight to looking for any matches and came up with an address. "Jamie I got an address." Matt said "Great where?" Jamie asked "Might need to buy a language translator you're going to France." Matt said

"Copy that." Jamie said as he got off the radio "Were going to France." Jamie said. "Hey guys we need to move now." Kate said then the group turned to see three Lycanthropes slowly approach. "Open fire!" Jamie yelled then as soon as the raised their guns the werewolves dissapeared "Fuck, now where are they?" Larrisa asked "I'll say this the guys are starting to piss me off." Jamie said "We need to get out of these trees too where we can see these sons of bitches." Jack said. "Too right man squad on me we'll head for the extraction point." Jamie said as he and his team ran down hill, across the creek, and onto the open flats. As soon as they broke the treeline the sound of a helicopter drowned out all sound "Thank God..." Jack said then was cut off by a scream thud then noticed a Werewolf charging Kate. He looked to his left and saw the other two werewolves fighting Jamie and Larrisa so Jack did the only thing he could think, he charged the werewolf that was trying to get Kate and tackled it. Kate had tripped trying to get some distance so she could shoot but then when she stood up she saw Jack tackle the werewolf to the ground as the two started to roll. Then the whole group turned to see Jack get a chunk of his neck bit away "JACK!!" Kate screamed as she fired the full clip of her Mp5 into the wolf's chest and it fell dead. She ran to Jacks side and held the side of his neck seeing the bite mark and blood leaked from it. "Hang on babe you'll be alright."Kate said pressing her hands against the wound trying to keep pressure to the wound. As the helicopter landed Jamie tossed tossed a silver grenade at the two werewolves as they looked at the small bomb as it exploded into and they turned to piles smoldering gore.

"Larrisa you two get Jack on the chopper." Jamie said as he followed them onto the helicopter. "Get help back here damn it." Jamie yelled as he looked back to Jack who knew he had no time to waste. "Larrisa give him the shot." Jamie said as Larrisa opened a compartment on the helicopter seat that held medicine for just this type of occasion. "Pilot get us out of here." Jamie ordered as the pilot nodded then took off in the direction of Blacklight Headquarters.
