The Protectors

Chapter 2

     I walk up the stairs that lead to the wooden porch. The door had a diamond shaped glass window with swirls and flowers on it. I open the door and walk inside. To the right I see a stair case leading upstairs and a little hallway that looks like it may lead to an office. Also a dining room. To the left I see an opening closets to me that is for a living room. Down the hallway on the left is another opening leading to a kitchen? Okay so I may have exaggerated! Omg! It's adorable! Okay so mom was right. She is never going to hear that come out my mouth.
      I walk start to walk upstairs and there is a little curve to the right. When I reach the top, like mom said there'd be, there was a hallway. On the right side there's two bedrooms. On the other side there's a bedroom and a bathroom.
The other bathroom must be downstairs.
I go to the right an go to the first bedroom I see. There is no bed. I thought this house is supposed to be fully furnished! Ugh! I step out and go to the next room. In the next room there is a bed and there's a window. The bad part is that the window is perfect view of the graveyard! Yay, now I get to have nightmares every night!
"Ugh!" I groan out loud.

After we made our beds and decided to call and get pizza it was already 9:00 pm. I go back upstairs to unpack close.
"Cass, don't forget you have your first day of school tomorrow! I already enrolled you so you just need to go to the office and pick out your classes," my mom called after me.
"Okay. Love you!" I scream to her.
"Love you too, sweetie."
As soon as I get in my room, I turn on my iPod and listen to Courtesy Call by Thousand Foot Krutuch. I know it's a little old but you I love to listen to rock! I dance around and sing while putting up my close for about two hours. By the time I turn off the music and finish getting ready for bed it midnight.
   I look out the window to see three teenagers (well at least I think there teens) walking through the graveyard to what looked to be a stone building(you know the ones that have like skeletons and stuff in them). One was a short girl (by short I mean shorter than me which isn't very short because I'm 5'9) with blonde hair in a pony tail with jeans and a jean jacket on. One was a tall guy (maybe 6'1/6'2) with brown hair and dark jeans and jacket on. The last one is, oh my Jesus! He's is hot! I don't care if I haven't seen his front side but if it's anything like his athletic back side then he is perfect! He has to be 6'3/6'4 with jet black hair and dark jeans that hug him just right, with a dark jacket. As if he feels me staring at him he turns. Oh. My. God! He is perfect! Our eyes lock and he stops walking. His eyes are the most beautiful blue I have ever seen!! They are like the ocean! I wish my eyes were that color instead of brown almost black eyes. The others follow in pursuit. The guy taps him on the shoulder and asks him something. Without breaking eye contact he answers. Then out of nowhere a gang (by gang I mean like 4) of creatures attack them.
    The teens (yep definitely teenagers now that I have seen there faces) immediately jump it action. Also I hope the girl and the hottie(my name for the black haired one) aren't dating. Wait what? Where did that come from? They are in a battle and I am over here day dreaming about becoming Mrs. Hottie! Oh god! What is wrong with me? Any way Shortie(my nickname for the girl) is going at it with her monster while Guy(my name for the other guy) is fighting his monster. And poor Hottie is battling two monsters. Okay is it just me or I am going to have a heart attack? I swear I am just dream. Just pinch yourself and you'll wake up. So I pinch myself. Not working! I do it again! Nope still not working! Now Hottie has one monster knocked unconscious and is still going full on with the other. Wait a second! Are those things made of ice? Omg!! They are!! By it look solid as steel except for where I guess is where Hottie just stabbed his monster at. What did he stab it with? Oh a stake? Made of wood or medal. It's to far away to see very clear. Any way he goes to second one which is now awake and ready to fight. Shortie just killed hers with a stake too. So did Guy. Then they all ganged up on the last one which just sank into the earth! The earth??!!! What the hell just happened?
  Hottie looked up at me and his eyes changed to a black and stared at me. I just stare in awe. Then I do the (hopefully smart thing) and duck down below the window. Again I ask. WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?? Okay now I know for sure I am sleeping. When I look out the window again their gone. WHAT THE HELL? I get up and start to pace. My mind is going 100 miles per hour right now!! Finally when I come to the conclusion that I am just crazy I look at my phone and see that it is 2:00 am.
    "Shit!" I whisper under my breath. I have school in the morning. So I decide I should get some sleep. I lay down and not even 10 minutes later I am a sleep.
