Prologue

"And that was the final performance of this years 2016 Seoul music awards!"

On that day Seoul received a grim reminder.

Back stage, EXO wipe off their sweat with the fluffy white towels that were handed to them by the staff as they try to catch their breath, "Great job guys, our hard work paid off" Suho says as he pats his forehead dry from any dripping sweat.

"I CANT BELIEVE WE WON THE POPULARITY AWARD!" Xiumin cheers while wearing his contagious smile.

"I know right I still cant believe it... LETS GO CELEBRAAAAATE!" Chanyeol screams as all of EXO run, skip and cheer down the hallway towards their dressing room. Suho opens the door with ''EXO'' neatly printed on the front in gold, they all enter to find a massive stack of presents and cards from their fans on the floor, with a large card box on the table. All their eyes widen with surprise as they ran up to their presents. "Woah, look at all this! I feel so loved!" Says D.O with amazement.

"Haha it's not all for you!" Kai laughs while he ruffles D.O's hair. A knocking sound came from the door, Luhun approaches the door looking to see who it is.

"Ah, it's the Manager! Come in, come in!", they all bow their heads with respect as the manager walks in holding a bouquet of white flowers.

"I just wanted to congratulate you all for the beautiful performance you did and of course the well deserved award you have won!" EXO all thank the Manager one by one as they shake his hand. "Well I guess you all deserve the rest of the day off, so enjoy all the gifts you have received and I'll see you all at the party tomorrow! Goodnight!"

"Thank you Manager, Goodnight!" they all reply together bowing as he leaves.

"WELL I'M HUNGRY! LETS FIND SOMETHING TO EAT!" Tao screams as he breaks the short pause of silence, they all jolt, whipping their heads around, facing Tao.

"Me too! I'm sure there's something to eat here," says Sehun as he begins to rummage through the pile of gifts, "Huh? What's this?" he notices the large box on the table next to the presents with a little bow and a note attached, slowly reaching for the lid, he pries the top off, revealing a massive cake.

There, standing in all its glory, is the holy mother of all cakes, decorated to perfection, the chocolate dripping down the edges left Sehun drooling in hunger.

"OMOOO ITS A CAKE!" he says, catching the attention of all the other members.

"Yummmmm" Lay says as he begins to speed walk towards it, eyes focus on the cake as they all circle around it.

"Who's it from? Lets check the box" Chen asks worryingly, he grabs the note on the lid and reads "From a very special fan xxx".

"I say we eat it!" Kris says as he passes around knives and plates from the nearby snack table, he then begins to slice it for everyone. As he reaches the centre of the cake he realises there was a hard object inside, "huh? What's this?" He asks himself, all the members hear him and bring them selves closer to see, "It's a box?" He says as he sees a white box in the middle of the cake after removing the top slices.

"Take it out, lets see what's inside" Xiumin suggests, Tao then picks the box up and opens it, all the members wait patiently to see what it holds.

"Ohh wow, there are necklaces inside!" Tao exclaims as he pours all the necklaces onto the table.

"They look like each of our symbols" Sehun says as he takes his necklace and puts it on.

"You're right they are, they look awesome!" Says Luhan as he takes his one too and wears it, the rest of the members do the same.
