I screamed. I screamed as loud as I could. My eyes, they were the same colour as those eye balls in my dream. The ones I dug into. I-I couldn't believe it. Maybe I was still dreaming. Hurting myself wouldn't help. If I ever tried to injure myself in any way inside a dream, I would just hurt myself in real life, and I still wouldn't be in reality.

"Ruby. Do my eyes look red?" I asked, hoping this was all an illusion. "Yes, they do" she replied. " I quickly grabbed my head. This couldn't be real. There was no way. I must be dreaming. "Iris, it's not that bad. It's not like it will kill you." If she saw what I saw, she wouldn't sound so calm. I let go of my head. I didn't need to look crazier then I already was. "Your right!" I said. "It's nothing bad". I meant it. I was going to be fine. My eyes being red wasn't going to kill me. "Good" Ruby replied. "Let's go an get something to eat"

I walked out of my room to a cafeteria full of people. I barley knew anyone. I was usually asleep so I never socialized with anyone. Ruby left to go and sit with friends she had made. I was alone.

I grabbed a big amount of food. I didn't eat a lot since I was always asleep so when I got the time to eat I always ate as much as a I could. I didn't sit at a table like everyone else. It was always to crowded and awkward. I found a seat in the corner of the room and started eating away at my sandwich.

Something different happened. I sat there for a little bit. I was half way done my sandwich when I heard a voice. "You really shouldn't eat on the floor." I looked up to see a boy. I have never seen him before. He had brown eyes and hair. His skin was very tan. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Matthew, I've never seen you here before. Who are you?" He asked as he pushed his glasses up.

"I'm Iris." I answered. "Are you new here?" It felt weird talking to some one. "I've been here for a year actually" I replied. He didn't say anything. Instead Matthew took a seat beside me. We talked for a little bit until I was interrupted.

"Iris, I'm lonely. Come see me". No. Why was this happening so quickly. I usually had more time. Then out of now where I saw Eva appear. I tried to follow her.

I only made it half way until I passed out on the floor.
