I woke up in a room. An old dark grey room. This-this made no sense! Why was I here. I was only in the real world for an hour. I usually have more time. What was wrong with me?
This dream felt different to. There wasn't just darkness. I could see. None of my dreams began like this. I got up and looked around. It was an old and empty room. I couldn't do anything, but I wanted to know. I needed to know what was happening.
"What the hell Eva?!" I yelled as loud as I could. I didn't care anymore, I wanted to leave. Eva was the only one who could let me out. The room suddenly lit up. I whipped my head around and saw Eva standing there wearing a white dress.
"You're an eager one." She said in a very dreadful voice. Her eyes changed to red, just like mine did. "Do you like my eyes? I think they look very good on me." So she did this to me. I stared directly at her. "Why?" I asked. "Why did you bring me here again." I replied.
"I wanted to see you. We should play another game!" I stared at her. "Leave me alone!" Eva went on with the conversation as if I said nothing. "Why don't I show you my new pet?" I blinked once and somehow a large cage with a blanket over it appeared beside Eva. "Wanna see?" She said with a wide smile on her face. She pulled the white sheet of the cage to reveal a monster.
The thing crawled on all fours. It was large and it looked like it had human skin. That wasn't the worst part. The worst part was in its face. It's eyes were pure white and his mouth was very wide. It had no nose. The weirdest part was his face was upside down.
"Do you like him?" Eva asked. "It's creepy, that's for sure" I answered. "Why don't you look closer?" Eva told me. I walked up to the cage to examine the beast. It took me a minute to recognize his face.
That thing was my little brother, Adam.
