"We're here,"
"Already?"
I opened the car door and jumped out.
"Your purse,"
I snatched my purse out of the front seat.
"Have a good day,"
"You too, dad," I mumbled.
God, I hate him.
I closed my eyes and braced myself. I was about to enter the definition of hell.
I slouched through the doors and avoided eye contact with the people passing me. All I needed was some depressing music to set the tone.
Somebody bumped into me from the other side of the hall. Their binder scraped my arm up the side, and left a small trail of white.
"Asshole," I mumbled.
Not long after, I passed the library. A big poster hung on the outside.
10 DAYS LEFT!
"Two weeks," I thought to myself. "I can do it."
