MAMA LIGHTWOOD IS HERE!
First off can I just say how much I hated how she talked to Isabelle? She sounded ashamed of her and that made me upset. She treats Jace better than her own children...which makes me wonder how she is going to treat Max? ALSO SHES MARRYING OFF ALEC?!
Apparently her name is Lydia Branwell which makes me wonder if Ed watches Teen Wolf...hahaha. We will see her in Epsiode 8 I believe and shes in the rest of the season as well, she is supposed to take temporary control from the Lightwoods. She is distantly related to Clary in some way and is a big obsticle in Alec and Magnus' romance.
We got our first Alec and Clary training scene. I loved it, it was a very crucial moment in their relantionship. AND WHEN MAGNUS CALLED ALEC ALEXANDER I SCREAMED!
Also when Clary runs out of the institute of course Alec is freaking out and runs after her, and then she tells him she knows about his feelings for Jace.
LIKE???
Also Jace acts like he has a stick up his butt, He's treating his family like crap, like homie I know you wanna find Clary and other things but that is really horrible. Then we see Simons new abilites come as a shock to Clary and Alec.
Clary and Simon get kidnapped and essentially taken to the werewolves lair. The wolves look cool and tbh if anyone says that they should look like Twilights wolves keep in mind that Twilight had a bigger budget! TV is wayyy different than Movies! I think they are normal size which they should be, not oversized horse wolves.
Luke saves Clary sorta, but then we see Jace and Alec punch Luke with this supercool speed move and ALEC CATCHES CLARY. Like it was cool. We see Isabelle save Simon and they had a cute moment. We see them all circle up and the wolves almost attack if it wasn't for Luke they'd all be chop liver. Luke essentially becomes the Alpha and is now the leader of the pack, He tells Clary that he told her mother he would always protect her. The former alphas claws were laced with some type of posion and makes Luke very weak. Clary tells Jace they have to get him to Magnus which leads us to MALEC next week!
