I could here Steve and soda yell,
" time for dinner!"
Piper was still holding my hand and standing closes. Took her to the table and say her next to me.
Soda and Steve came out with everyones food and sat down. we started to eat. Darry start to talk,
" so what movie did you guys pick?"
Two-bit look at Steve and Steve look at Two-bit,Two-bit said,
" well were are thinking we all could go to a drive in after this."
Darry took a moment to think and then continued,
" ok sondes like a plane."
Piper grabbed my hand under the tank end whispered in my ear,
" can I talk to you outside for a moment ?"
I nodded yes, I asked Darry,
" can me and Piper go the the filed and meet you guys at the drive in?"
Darry thought a little but and finally said.
" Ok but let me give you $4 so you guys can pay when you guys come."
Darry have me the $4 and me and piper(still holding hands) walk to the filed.
About 5 min later at the filed
Piper turn to me and said,
" Pony I have never known anyone like you. I know that we have only know each other for a day and we are both mystery, but Pony I fill like there is some different about you pony, I love you Ponyboy Curtis."
My heart was racing when I herd her say that. I could say a word I was stunned. She continued,
"Pony as I say before we are both mystery you are my mystery and I'm yours. I love Pony do you love me?"
I was still so stunned I couldn't think or talk so to answer her I put my hand on her check and kissed her. It was like time stop, me and she were the only two people in the world. After I took her closes and said,
" I love you Piper Grace."
She smile and gave me a quick kiss back and said.
" now let's go see that movie." She said.
I smile back and took her close and we started to walk to the dive in.
