It was finally the day that Landon goes to Hogwarts. We all boarded the Hogwarts train and found out usual compartment. We all were debating what house Landon would get into, but I wasn't sure, just because he is a Gaunt doesn't guarntee that he would be in Slytherin.
We soon arrived at Hogsmeade station all dressed in our robes proudly wearing our Slytherin badge, apart from Landon. We walked down the path to wear the carriages were waiting for the flock of students like it does every term.
We soon arrived at Hogwarts, I stopped and waited for Landon to catch up to me from behind.
"So bro, you ready for the sorting"
"Yeah, I'm really nervous though, I have no idea what house I'm going to be in"
"Which house do you want to be in"
"I don't mind any house will suit me, but I think I will be a Slytherin cause that is the house our whole family has been in"
"You never know, you could be the one to change it bro"
No longer had we stopped speaking we had made it to the great hall.
"Come on Landon, sit with us till you are called"
"Okay"
Landon's PoV
I walked behind sky ready to face my fate. I was so nervous as I got to the table I sat down next to Sky and the other side of me was a pretty girl with caramel brown hair and green eyes.
"Hi, I'm Carol Aurora Blunt nice to meet you"
"Hi, I'm Landon Daniel Gaunt, its nice to meet you too"
"So how come I have never seen you around Hogwarts before"
"I just transferred from Drumstrang to be with me sister"
"That's cool, I'm not friends with your sister but she seems nice"
"Yeah she is"
"So what house do you want to be in"
"Any really I'm not bothered"
"That's cool, well whatever house your in, I hope we can still be friends"
"Yeah of course we can still be friends, it wouldn't matter what house I'm in"
"Okay, you promise"
"I promise"
I heard my name being called and turned around to see the headteacher calling me up to get sorted. I stood up and slowly made my way to the the front where the stool and sorting hat were, I quickly sat down and the headteacher placed the sorting hat straight on my head.
"Ahh another Gaunt, hmmm your tricky to place you have all the quality's to be in every house. You are brave just like a Gryffindor is supposed to be, you are cunning like a Slytherin, you also have the intellectual knowledge to be in Ravenclaw and you are loyal and hardworking which are the qualities for Hufflepuff. Where to put you."
There was a long pause before the hat spoke again.
"The house that I think will do you good would be GRYFFINDOR"
I was extatic, I couldn't believe it, I was the first Gaunt not to be put into Slytherin. I walked over to the Gryffindor table, but as I did I looked over towards the Slytherin table to see Sky and Carol smiling at me I smiled back and sat down at the Gryffindor table.
"Hi I'm Alisanna Harper and that over there is my twin sister Emelina"
I turned to my right sight to see a tall girl with waist long blonde hair and blue eyes, I looked across from me as well to see someone else the spitting image of her.
"Nice to meet you I'm Landon Gaunt"
"So Landon, what year are you in"
"I'm in the year 4, what about you two"
"Were in year 5, we have just turned 17 how old are you"
"I'm 15, I will be 16 soon"
"So what do you like to do Alisanna"
"Well I love to play quidditch, what about you"
"Me too, what position do you play"
"I'm the chaser, what do you play"
"I'm the seeker, just like my sister"
"Cool, do you play quidditch Emelina"
"Yeah I'm a beater"
"That's cool maybe we can play together if I get into the team that is"
While we were talking the feast had appeared before us, I was ravished so I grabbed a bit of everything. It was soon time to go to our common room. I spotted Skyla walking towards me and told the twins to wait for me a minute.
"Hey bro, congrats on getting in Gryffindor, Mum and Dad will be proud"
"Thanks sis, this is Alisanna and Emelina"
"Nice to meet you both, look after my baby brother will you"
"Hey I'm not that much younger then you"
"Okay whatever you say bro, I will see you later, bye girls"
She walked away and I followed the twins to the common room.
"So the password this term is Leo Fortis"
"That stands for brave lion doesn't it"
"How did you know"
"I might speak Latin fluently"
"Really, that's awesome"
"Yeah"
We walked into the common room and I said goodbye to twins and walked up the the forth year boys dormitory. As I got in there, there was only one other person with me. He had short blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hey, my names Landon nice to meet you"
"Oh hey mate, my names Lewis, nice to meet you too"
"Yeah, so who else shares this room with us"
"There are only two other lads, there is James and Leon they should be here soon so you can meet them"
"Cool"
"So, you got into Gryffindor then, I thought you would be put in Slytherin just like the rest of family, I guess you beat the odds of that then"
"Yeah, the hat said I have the qualities to be in all the houses, then it eventually put me in Gryffindor"
"That's cool"
I had just finished unpacking when 2 guys walked through the door
"Hey guys meet Landon Gaunt"
A taned guy with long dark haired stepped towards me, with brown eyes.
"Hey, my names James, nice to meet you buddy"
Another guy stepped forward and he was the total opposite of James he had pale skin, with bleach blonde hair and green eyes
"Nice to meet you mate, I'm Leon"
"Nice to meet you both"
After we had finished speaking it was pretty late so we all retired to bed, ready for the new day ahead of us tomorrow "
