Into the dark

The black feather

I was furious, I couldn't explain how much I wanted to kill Tom. Riley could of died. I get Riley out of the broken car and placed her in the other car. I kiss her forehead and said quietly: "hold on a bit more, I will save you some way." I then close the door and walk around to the drivers seat. I get in and turn the car on. I slowly began to drive back down the root we was heading.
-A Few hours later-
It was mid day and there was no cars in sight. There was fields of corn scattered across the land as the blazing sun shon down upon my face. Up in the distance I saw a red barn with a tracker outside it. I slowly head towards the barn to see if anyone was there to give me directions. Finally, I park the car and get out. I slam the door shut and locked it so none could take Riley.
I walked over to the barn door and opened the door. I glanced around to look for any signs of life. I walk around and saw fresh hay barrels and crystal,blue water. I was worried because there was no animals and no humans so how did the water and hay get there. I jumped as a crow flapped it black wings. Then from the corner of the room I heard a little girl giggling so I look over to then see a small girl with Raven black hair and bright green eyes that glowed in the sunlight. She was wearing a jumper that was too big with some skinny grey jeans that had big holes in them. She was wearing black shoes that had splats of white on them.
She pranced over and jumped up on me. She then whispers into my ear,
"They are watching you." She then pointed at a group of crows. I then say ,
"Ok.... But little girl why are you all alone? Do you need help?" She then giggled and said
"You are a silly little man aren't you! I am not alone I have my friends with me !" I look at her in a weird way and said "where are your friends?"
She then smacked my face and said "how dare you ask where my friends are! Can you not see they are looking right at you!" She then jumps down and calls out to one of the crows. Then the crow sits on her shoulder and she begins to giggle. I then say "what's so funny little girl?"
She then says, "you are lost aren't you?" I was shocked, I couldn't believe what I just heard. I then say in a croaky tone "h..Ho..how did you know that?!"
She then simply replies " I can see it in your eyes." She then walks over to my car and says "who's that pretty lady in there?and why is she sleeping?" She begins to tap on the glass. I pull her away and said "that's Riley and she needs to sleep so leave her alone" she then says
"Can I see her?" I then reply
"no"
She pulls a face at me and runs off back into the barn. She comes back out with a map and shows me how to get to the place I needed to go and then she says "now you have to show me that pretty lady in the car!" I then smile and say "you little bugger" I walk over to the car and open the door. She walks over and looks at Riley, she began to stroke Riley's hair. Riley began to move. I was shaking and said "how....a...are you doing that?!" She then looks at me and says "doing what?" She then kisses Riley on the cheek and walks away. A black feather fell from the little girls jumper and I say to her before she left "Ow little girl, may I ask what your name is?" She then smiles and says "my name is crow!" She then walked away.
I heard the car door open so I quickly turn around to then see Riley standing right in front of me. I fall to my knees and started to cry. She sat down beside me and hugged me. I hugged her back and said
"I'll never let you go!"
She then says sweetly "are you ok? I have only been asleep.. Wait how long have I been asleep for?! And why are we at a barn?!" She jumps other feet and looks around.
I didn't reply because I was still shocked. I finally catch my breath and said "urm Riley you have been asleep for three days now." She then runs over to me and says in shock
"THREE DAYS!!"
I then say " Riley I will explains it all in the car." She simply nods and walks over to the car and gets in it. I then stand up and grab the feather. I had a flash back from the little girls past but I didn't understand how......
