Into the dark

Dark memories

As the girls memories flooded through my mind, there was one story that upset me the most and it was when the little girl was abandoned.
  -the memory-
Little crow, " mommy, mommy look at my drawing! Hehe"
She points it in her mothers face trying to get her attention but the mother shoved the fragile girl out of the way. Crow falls over a toy that was left on the floor and hit her head. She began to cry so the mother crabbed her wrist and repeatedly smacked the child till she stopped crying. Crow had a hard life because her parents where drug addicts so if crow miss behaved they would beet her and lock her in her room. One day crow was so upset she ran down the stairs and quietly put her coat on and slipped on her pink light up Welles. She slowly opened the front door. When it was wide enough for her to fit through she ran straight down the street.  As she ran tears flooded down her face. She crossed the road and walked to the park. She sits down on a bench as she sat a baby, black crow flew towards her and sat besides the little girl. She smiled an said sweetly "hello there! Are you hungry?" She pops her hands in her pocket and pulled a small slice of bread out. She breaks it in half and passes one to the baby crow and says "hehe enjoy little.... Hmmmm? Your name is... Ow YES! Crumbs is your name!" She pats the bird and eats the left over bread;it was hard mouldy bread. She stands up and begins to walk away but she stopped when she heard the baby crow following her.
She gently picks the bird up and holds him tightly. She then began to walk again....
    -end of memory-
I started to cry like a baby and Riley shouts:
"HEY YOU OK?"
"I think so.."
I then place the feather in my pocket and walked over to the car. Before I got in I shouted to crow "HEY LITTLE GIRL.... URM THANKS FOR YOU HELP!" I didn't hear a reply but I heard a quiet giggle. I open the car door and get in. I start the car and began to drive away from the barn. I then look at Riley and say "I have missed you! Also I have something to tell you when we get to the village. She then says,
"I missed you too, I have to tell you about the dream I had." When the words slipped out of Riley's mouth I knew her dream was bad.
   We finally got to the town but something didn't feel right. The town felt empty. Riley thought it was empty too. I know this was a stupid idea but I did it anyway. I got out of the car to investigate. I tried to get Riley to stay in the car but she refused. We both walked around and noticed everyone had evacuated the town.
  We both went into one of the shops to get some food. Riley said she was going to look around the back of the shop where the freezer was. I let her go to the back of the shop meanwhile I looked for some chocolate;valentines day was coming up soon.
Suddenly I heard a scream. It sounded like Riley so I drop the stuff and ran towards the back of the shop and saw Tom standing there with Riley. She had a knife pointed to her neck. I screamed at him and said
"LEAVE HER ALONE!"
Tom then replied with a smirk on his face "haha, it's just pay back ! Do you remember that boy you ran over back in the car chase? Well HE IS DEAD! BECAUSE OF YOU!" He began to laugh and he said in a deep voice, "so Riley will die! Haha!".......
