The rain pelted against the window creating a steady beat. The atmosphere was calm. It was the kind of day where nothing eventful happened. Painting the sky was a blanket of gray clouds. The occasional roll of thunder interupted the patter of the rain. It was a cymbal crashing in the middle of a beautiful symphony.
You sat on the window seat, legs tucked in front of you. Your nose was buried deep in a book. The words taking to you a world beyond your own where you could do anything. Adventures came closer with every turn of the page. Your eyes read the words while you were transported to the side of the main character experiencing a perilous conflict, which seemed impossible to overcome.
While you were in the land of fantasy and adventures, the front door to your apartment opened and closed silently. Feet padded on the floor over to the kitchen. Water poured out of the faucet briefly.
Before you had finished the chapter you were on, a man's figure filled the door to your small library, yet you noticed none of these things. Suho smiled and love filled his eyes. He took in the image of you sitting on the window seat completely engrossed in the book you were reading. Your hair had fallen in your face long ago, but you had chosen to ignore it. Suho thought you looked just like a model as you eyes scanned the pages of the book to the other world.
He felt nothing but admiration and adoration for the beautiful girl he got to call his. The blue shirt you were wearing brought out your eyes, and that is one of the main reasons for his love. He loved the way your eyes sparkled when you talked about what you were passionate about, the way they could be filled with anger, despair, or love and still be full of beauty, and the way you looked at him as if he were your whole world.
A smile tugged at your lips as the story began to take an exciting twist. Suho stared at you taken aback at the absolutely gorgeous person he somehow managed to convince to become his girlfriend. He loved how you guys could talk for hours and still want to hear the others voice longer. Suho loved how you could sit in silence, yet somehow every word was spoken clearly as if you were shouting everything. You were his, and he would never let you go.His feet carried him to one of the book shelves. Carefully, he chose a book off the shelf trying to refain from distracting you. He was always considerate when it came to these things. After choosing a book, Suho walked over to the window seat. His fingers gently tucked the fallen hair behind your ear as his lips softly kissed the top of your head. He sat himself on the opposite side and opened his book. His feet rested on top of yours. You continued reading with the rain playing its song in the background and a smile on your lips.
