I slowly open my eyes and stretch my arms, confused when I don't feel the usual pain in my wrist. Pulling my sleeve down, I see that there are no marks whatsoever on my wrist from last night. Odd... I also notice that my window is wide open. I know that was closed last night... I think to myself. My mind starts spinning from all of this confusion. I make my way over to the window, closing and locking it before I walk into my bathroom to get dressed. I throw on a purple and black striped oversized sweater and black leggings. I brush my hair out into its usual straight form and apply a little makeup. I stare at my reflection for a minute, then decide that I look presentable, and brush my teeth. Walking back into my room, I put on my black furry boots, grab my phone, and plug in my headphones on my way out of the house. As I walk and listen to my music, I can't stop thinking about the man from yesterday. After a while of walking, I realize that I don't know where I am. "Shit." I mumble, mentally facepalming myself. Great going Ky. Pausing my music, I take my headphones out and look around. There's a house in the far distance, but it's too long of a walk to get there. "Lost?" A voice asks from behind, startling me. I turn around to find the same man from yesterday standing there. "I... well... yeah..." I admit, looking down at my hands. Suddenly, he picks me up bridal style, and in the blink of an eye, I'm outside my house. He sets me down and I turn to face him. "H-how did you do that?" He just chuckles, "Vampire perk." I freeze, thinking about what he just said. After deciding that it all adds up, I nod to myself and look up to meet his gaze. "Okay." I say simply, shrugging slightly. He gives me a weird look, "you're not scared?" I shake my head "not really, if you wanted to kill me or something you would've done it already." He looks shocked but nods to what I said. Then he seems to realize that I still don't know his name. "Oh, and I'm Damon, Damon Salvatore." I smile, "I'm Mikyla but I go by Ky." I see Elena walking up the street and I sigh. "I have to go..." I say sadly. I give him a small smile and walk inside the house.
