Taraji's pov

I was about to leave and go meet Mary J. I grabbed my car keys and put my shades on but right when I was about to walk out the front door my cell phone rang. I rolled my eyes and scrambled through my purse to find it. Once I found my iPhone I answered assuming it was my husband it. "Yes baby I'm fine I'm leaving the house right now" I said opening the front door waiting for Maurice to drive my car around to the front. "Excuse me , is this Mrs. Howard" what sounded like a white man on the other end. "Oh I'm sorry , but yes this is she , who's speaking" I asked "This is John Knapp , the principal of Edgewood high school , can you come to the campus , your daughter has been in an altercation with another student" said the man "yes , thank you" I said hanging up. I rolled my eyes and Maurice had pulled my car up and open my door for me to get in. I shot Mary a text telling her that I would have to take a rain check because something came up with the girls at school. I started driving to their school thinking which one has got in a fight these little girls got mouth on them and I'm surprised that they fall out already and it's the fifth month of school.

I got to the school and got out with my bodyguard right behind me I walk into the building and went into the front office and was escorted to the principal's office where I saw the back of Tiana.

"Mrs.Howard please have a seat" he said. I walked to his desk and sat in the chair next to my daughter and saw blood all on her hand's. "Tiana do you care to tell your mother what happened" he asked "you the one that called her up here so you can..." Tiana said before I stopped her "tell me what happened" I said to her. "Okay I was talking to alazay and then some fat broad starts talking mess. And I asked her if she could share the textbook with me so I could finish my work and she didn't want to so I started saying stuff to her and I got mad because she was just talking and not doing nothing so when she hit me I went at her" said Tiana

"Wait wait wait , did you hear that principal Knapp" I asked him "hear what Mrs Howard" he asked me "she hit my child first , so that's self defense" I said " yes ma'am but she's still suspended for three days because she did injure the other student very badly" he said

Right after he said that the door flew open and I saw Tamara the cops holding her back but she was trying to run past them and some girl was outside the office talking mess. "BITCH WUS GOOD ? I BEAT THAT ASS ALREADY AN I'll DO IT AGAIN ! COME FUCK WIT ME HOE !" she yelled as she tried getting out of the cops grip. "GET OFF ME !" she yelled at them. They pushed her in the office and closed the door and she was banging it and pulling on the doorknob. I stood up and touched her arm making her face me and saw she had tears on her face. Tamara has really bad anxiety and anger issues so when she's really mad or frustrated she cries. I just opened my arms and she hugged me and cried into my chest. "I didn't mean to mama" she whispered as she sobbed. "I know baby I know" I said kissing her head . cmon Tiana we outta here I said picking up my purse and putting on my sunglasses. "Ma'am your daughters are..." Said the principal before I stopped him "don't worry , they won't be coming back so just delete them from your system , thank you have a nice day and be blessed" I said walking out holding Tamara's hand while Tiana walked behind us. Our security guard led us to my car and we drove in silence back to the house.
