The lunch bell rang right as Kelly was exposing the name of her mystery guy, it was Mitch. I didn't mention that Mitch seemed to not care about anything or anyone. I headed to Chemistry with Daria as the rest of the group went to their next classes. Daria was explaining the trip the volleyball team was going to take when I once again spaced out. I needed to be at home where I could forget about everyone and just let the pain take me away for a while.
The next thing I saw was the brick wall I was about to collide with when a strong arm caught my waist, pulling me to my once again vertical state. I glanced up and glared at the brown haired, green eyed, muscular male who still had his arm around me. I pushed away from him narrowing my eyes in annoyance and accusation.
"What just happened?" I asked with slight malice not liking the look on his face. I glanced over at Daria for an explanation as he bent down for something and she shook her head sighing softly.
"It was your fault M, you spaced out per usual and you two collided. If he hadn't caught you, I'm sure you'd be on the ground, unconscious by now."
I released a loud sigh of annoyance at my incapability to stay focused and glanced at the guy in front of me to see that he had retrieved my bag from the ground. I grabbed my bag from his outstretched hand muttering a quiet, "sorry" for the collision. I hadn't expected a reply and I bristled when I got one, he used a nickname I'd never been fond of.
"Don't worry about it Blondie", he smirked down at me from his impossible height and I frowned up at him. He leaned in then and placed a hand on my arm in a gesture of intimacy that I immediately brushed off, glaring up at him. He chuckled softly at my reaction, "you can collide with me any day", he winked at me and smiled.
My eyes narrowed as I looked at him and scoffed slightly at his indication, "no thanks." I took a step away from him not liking our close proximity.
He shook his head in amusement and faked a frown as he replied softly, "What a shame." I opened my mouth to reply to his comment when Daria grabbed my arm cutting off my retort.
"We're going to be late!" She hissed quietly in my ear as her hand squeezed my arm tighter. I bit my lip as the pressure she applied gave me a sliver of the pain I was craving to forget the turmoil rolling around in my head. I continued to glare at the guy behind us as she dragged me to class wishing I could wipe that smirk right off his face. He waved annoyingly and then called out to me, " I'm Mitch by the way!"
My eyes widened as we entered the classroom and I ran a hand through my hair releasing a quiet groan. One word was banging around in my mind, fuck.

The bell signaling the end of sixth period sounded and I began the walk to my car. I was lost in thought of how I was going to accomplish all the homework I had to do tonight when someone grabbed my arm. I paused in my trek and glanced at the culprit, once my eyes met his glowing green ones I sighed softly in annoyance with his presence.
"What do you want?" I asked softly wanting nothing more than this encounter to be over as quickly as possible before someone saw us together. Mitch smirked at me and let go of my wrist with a satisfied look as if he'd caught me doing something wrong.
"You never mentioned a name, Blondie." He smiled obviously pleased with his use of the nickname and maybe catching on to my abundant hatred of it. I frowned up at him in annoyance, I wanted to get home and forget the past week not be stuck here chit chatting with 'the player'.
"That's because I don't want you to know my name, Mitch," I rolled my eyes as I replied hoping he'd take the hint and just leave me alone. I internally groaned as his mouth quirked up into a smile as he stared down at me. No such luck, I guess this boy couldn't take any hints. I could probably hit him with a football and he wouldn't get the hint. I sighed softly just hoping this would be over quick.
"My name sounds even better coming from your lips," he whispered, taking satisfaction in my dismayed look upon hearing his words.
"Can we not do this? I don't have time to deal with you and your lame lines," I replied a bit harshly, annoyance clear on my face. I saw his smile falter slightly before it became two times wider as he looked down at me.
"Don't deny your feelings for me, Blondie. It's obvious you want me." He flashed me a satisfied smirk and I frowned becoming even more upset than I was when class ended. I looked up at him and opened my mouth, ready to tell him to back off and just leave me alone, when he leaned closer and whispered in my ear, " and I can prove it." My mouth closed as confusion appeared in my mind, prove what? Before I could ask what he meant by that, his back was already facing me as he sauntered away towards the parking lot. I gritted my teeth in frustration, why oh why were boys so aggravating? And what did he mean by 'I'll prove it' ? What exactly was he going to prove?
