a night with chris and jakob

Alana Vera pov-
so, I came out of class and went straight to my boring school locker, where I found my best friend Maya. we've been friends for 4 years and because both of our parent work together, they decided to go on a business trip and leave me and her together bc we're 16 and know how to handle things.

"hey Lana, how was Italian?" Maya asked

"uh, honestly so boring. what about you?" I ask as I throw my books into my locker and shut the door.

"eh, it was okay. anyways, so I hear we're getting two new students. ugh hope they aren't bitchy teen girls; we have enough of those around here" Maya rolled her eyes.

I roll my eyes as we stroll the halls together, bc it was lunch time.

Maya King POV

Alana and I ramble on about how in stereo concert tickets were sold out after 4 minutes, and that now we would never have a chance to meet the two boys that we're deeply in love with. Jakob and Chris.

Lana was getting really pissed about it, till she looked up and froze.

I look at her confused af.

"Lana? You okay?" I asked confused.

Lana starts breathing heavily, and mumbling as if she had seen a ghost.

"ohhhhh myyy god" Alana said as she turned around so her back was turned to me. Her hand was covering her face as if she was hiding from someone

"omg Lana what? Oh shit did you just get your period again?" I ask awkwardly
alana shakes her head and gives me a glare for bringing that up again.

"they're here." Lana shrieks.
she tilts her head in their direction

I turn around to see two tall cute boys, who from far away looked oddly familiar.. it was them, Jakob and Chris.
i could feel every part of me tense up.
HOW COULD THIS BE HAPPENING?

I freeze and turn to Lana, we look up at each other and have no clue what to do.

We turn back around to see them, talking to each other and looking at the lockers.

"omg, are they the new students?!" I gasp

"w-well, they're in our school. standing by lockers, so y-yeah probably! Alana stutters

"act normal, dont look at them." I say as I go into a weird and awkward pose.

"just go on your phone! That's what everyone does" Alana says as she takes out her phone, and checks herself out in the reflection.

I quickly take out my phone, and look up at Jakob just to check if he has seen me.

Jakob and Chris turn to walk towards us, Alana and I quickly look down at our phones.

Jakob walks in front of Chris and as they walk past they accidently nudge us, and Alana's jaw drops, I smile profusely.

Alana's POV-

I totally freak out. But how couldn't I? ITS CHRIS AND IVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HIM FOR SO LONG.

The bell for class rang and Maya and I went to our next class, maths.

We go to our locker, get our books and leave.
the whole way to class all we could talk about was them.

We got into class and immediately heard a familiar voice, IT WAS THEM AGAIN.
maya and i look at each other, eyes wide.

They were sitting at the table that we were assigned at the start of the year. so there's no way of moving from them. Not that i'd want to anyway.

We walked up to the table and jakobs eyes quickly shifted from his books to Mayas, he smiled.
Maya put down her books, as did I.
