Alana POV
So yesterday Jakob and Maya finally got back together, we all celebrated and invited Josie over, she slept the night.
We were now all in the lounge room watching some boring show the boys had chosen, Josie and Ethan were cuddled up together. Although Ethan hasn't asked her out yet they already seem pretty official.
Maya and Jakob are just like they used to be, jakobs laying down with his head resting in her lap and she's playing with his hair. Jakob looks 100% more happier than he did the past week. Maya finally started to smile.
Chris and I, well nothing has changed ..AND IM GLAD.
I COULDN'T STAND TO FIGHT WITH HIM AND IF I DID I PROBABLY WOULD BE A LOT WORSE THAN MAYA.
There is seriously nothing that could ruin this moment.
Well except the fact that I'm missing my parents like crazy now.
I looked up to the TV and tried to pay attention to this movie.
There was a mother and daughter baking in the kitchen.
I probably should have paid more attention to the storyline because now I'm lost.
"oh you know what this scene reminds me of Lana?" maya said turning her head
"what?" I ask not really sure what this scene even is about
"when you and your mum would bake all the time" maya smiles
she was right, my mum and I would bake all of the time but now she's gone and I haven't baked in ages. She was the best at it.
"you're right, I miss that so much. I miss everything" I say smiling although I could feel a tear about to rush down my face
"I know; I miss everything too. Remember when I used to travel all the time? Every second weekend id go somewhere for like two days. I can't remember the last time I travelled." Maya says in a sad tone
chris looks down at me and smiles, he hugs me tighter.
"what'd you used to bake?" chris asks
"cupcakes, brownies, scones, cakes, muffins" I reply
"were you good at it?" chris asks smiling
"SHE WAS THE BEST, her mum taught her everything" maya adds
"well maybe we should bake together, teach me some things" chris suggests
"yeah you should teach him, last time we tried to bake a cake was for his mum's birthday and he insisted on adding 7 table spoons of butter because it apparently made the cake rise higher" Ethan laughed
everyone started to laugh
I gave chris the most confused look
"oh that's rude, that's very rude Ethan" chris said laughing and shaking his head
"fine, obviously you need to be taught" I agreed
"so where'd you travel?" Jakob asked looking up at maya
"Melbourne, Adelaide, Tasmania" maya started
"she took me to some of those places, the views were amazing" I added
"did you ever go to Luna park?" Josie asked
"I did a couple times" maya replied
"I would go there all the time when I visited, I love the rides." Josie expresses
