Chapter 22

Finally the plane has landed, it honestly took forever. Once we went through customs, grabbed put bags and all that boring stuff we caught a cab to our hotel. Me and Lee had our own room.

Your probably wondering where Joy, Spencer and John are. Well they have family here so they went and stayed with them. I placed my suitcase on the spare bed and unpacked somethings.

As I sat on my phone outside I remembered that Olivia still lived here, I grabbed my phone scrolling to her number hoping she hasn't changed it.

It rang for a couple seconds until a man picked up.

Me- Um hello is this Olivia's phone

Man- Yes it is can I ask who's speaking

Me- My names Candice I am one of Olivia's friends

Man- Hi Candice my names Jc I'll pass you onto Olivia

Me- Thank you, hello anyone there

Olivia- Hi Olivia speaking

Me- Hey Olivia is Candice do you remember

Olivia- OMG CANDICE I though you were dead omg are you okay are you safe please tell me your not hurt at all

Me- Olivia settle down I'm okay now I've been back for a while, but I'm in Queensland for the week and I was wondering you if you wanted to catch up

Olivia- That sounds great where you wanna meet

Me- Starbuck at the beach front around 4

Olivia- Perfect I'll see you their

Me- Okay cool bye

Olivia- Bye

3:50 slowly rolled around. I was dressed in some short and a baggy jumper that said 'Id buy it if it was in black' (A:N I have this jumper and it honestly describes me)

I put my converse on and applied a little bit of mascara, bragged my phone, wallet and sunglasses, sent Lee a text telling her where I was heading and left to go see Olivia.

I didn't need a cab or anything like that because the beach was one block away so I just walking. Queensland is a beautiful place, I have so much good memories up here but the bad ones somehow seem to overpower.

I ended up at Starbucks a couple minutes later so I took and see at and waited for Olivia. I took out my phone and went through my social media until a girl appeared in front of me.

"Candice" she said "Olivia" I replied, we both smiled at each other for a couple of seconds while I got up and gave her s massive hug.

"Wow you look so different" I said to her "Yeah well when mum was found she wanted to leave so I stayed and started a new life, and what about you, you look fantastic" She said

"Aww Olivia your too sweet" I smiled "how's your mum been since everything I know it's been over 2 years since it happened" I asked

Olivia explained how she's been doing. Apparently she moved to England and started teaching at a school and found a boyfriend. She seems be doing quite fine.

"How's your life been since the kidnapping" She asked "It's been a bit rough but I'm getting back on track slowing but I'm loving life again" I smiled "Well that's great" Olivia replied

We chatted for a little while until Olivia had to leave for a meeting. We have each other hug and said 'we should meet up again'- but it was going to be a while till that happened.

I walked back to the hotel and took quick shower and then hopping into the bath to soak for a while. Once I was done I ordered room service, watched a couple movies and went straight to bed.

Tomorrow is going to be an eventual day.
