Forever Mates

Chapter 1

*Kaylas POV*

So in 2 days I'll finally be 16 and then I'm able to turn into a wolf and I'll also be able to find my mate. All i have to do is get through today and Friday.

I meet my two best friends Chloe and Jasmine at my locker. They're a part of my pack, the Greenlight pack, so they know about me being a werewolf. They both have already changed but haven found their mates yet. As we're talking about stuff and walking to home group, we smell other wolves. There might be wolves at our school but this smell wasn't from our pack, it was from our neighbouring pack,  the Daylight pack. 

As soon as we smelt them 3 guys came walking past us and one of them smelt stronger then the others. He smelt of the forrest and pine leaves. He turned around and winked at me. I found it a little strange but I shook it off thinking nothing of it and continued to class. As the bell went we sat down talking about the new wolves. 

"What do you think they're doing here?" Jasmine asked. Me and Chloe responded with us shaking our heads and shrugging our shoulders. A few minutes into home group one of the 3 boys that we saw earlier walked in. "what the fuck is he doing here?" I whispered to the girls and as if the teacher read my mind he said "everyone, this is Jasper and he will be joining us for the year." Then after that Jasper went and sat with the other guys in the class at the back of the room. 'Looks like he's made new friends already' I thought to my self as i see him laughing and joking around with the other guys in my class.

The bell rang signalling end of home group and we all leave. Chloe and I have French while Jasmine has Marine Bio. "bye, see ya at recess" we said as we left to go to the french room. We walk in and crew up behind Dylan, our other best friend (also in the pack) and shout "boo!" trying to scare him "Heeey girls whats up? and you'll have to try harder than that if you wanna scare me. I've got the best hearing in the pack." Dylan says leaning back in his chair putting his hands around his head. "pssshh yea right keep dreaming. And nothing much is up just that we saw these really hot guys when we were at Kay's locker" Chloe told Dylan and he just replied with a smirk "I'm sure they weren't hotter than me babe" wrapping his arm around her shoulder. She just shrugs his arm off. As we were laughing at what Dylan said I smelt that same smell i smelt at my locker, forrest and pine. 

This time he walks in with another guy which i'm assuming is his friend from his pack. Jasper's school shirt was a little too tight so you could see the abs that he had underneath. He was also wearing the school tie. His dark brown hair, almost black,  was up in a small quiff. He looked pretty hot. I could see that Chloe looking at the other guy with something in her eyes but I couldn't exactly figure out what. This guy was wearing the same as Jasper but his shirt wasn't as tight. His hair was a light brown which was quite long, about up to his ears, and was just pushed back. Dylan saw us staring at the new guys and clicked his fingers in our faces "girls snap out of it" "Oh sorry" we both say as we get out of our trance. They sat in the only seats available in the class and guess where they were. Next to me.
