Harry awoke in a sweat, his blinds blowing from the heavy wind from outside. Harry was confused thinking he had shut the window before he went to sleep, pulling his window shut and checking the time, it was 3:30 in the morning. Harry sunk back under his covers, as Louis sat in a tree watching Harry from a far, he was the one who opened Harry's window.

Louis swung his legs as he sat on the branch of the tree, fluttering his wings softly. Thinking of Harry hoping he's ok.

Harry's mum shook him awake gently, cooing in his ear. "Come on hazza bear!" She whispered gently shaking his shoulder. Harry moaned pushing her hand away and rolling over, covering his face. She walked out of his room letting him stay in bed for a bit, Louis sat in the tree watching Harry lay there so peacefully.

Harry finally climbed out of bed, putting on his fluffy slippers and waddling out into the kitchen sleepily, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

Louis flew down from the tall tree in view of Harry's house, climbing into Harry's window. Feeling the warmth from Harry's bed, wanting to wrap his arms tight around him, to stoke his curly hair and look deep into his beautiful green eyes. But until he could get closer to Harry he'd just have to occasionally sneak into his small comfy bedroom.

"Get out of my house brad! Out! You're just using mum! Just leave." Louis heard Harry cry out, causing Louis to jump a meter thinking he was talking to him.

"She loves me more than you!" Louis heard another voice more deeper and scarier than Harrys deep raspy voice, Louis climbed out of Harry's bedroom flying off into the distance.

"Just. Get out!" Harry screamed tears fall from his green orbs, the man Louis heard was Harry's mums violent boyfriend, Brad. Harry hated the thought of his father being replaced by some alcoholic so he refused to let him in.

Brad pushed Harry into a wall, Harry let out a yelp. Cowering back into the wall, he was frightened. A familiar voice in Harry's head told him to leave it and walk away, but Harry didn't listen to the voice in his head. He threw a punch at the much older, stronger man.

"You've crossed the line mate!" Brad yelled pinning Harry against the wall, his large hand around Harry's neck. Choking Harry, leaving him gasping for breaths.

"Save yourself" whispered the voice in his head, Harry couldn't think while he was breathless. He started to relax thinking it would be better if Brad took his life, Harry surrendered.

"Don't give up Harry. Kick him in the balls and run." The voice said louder and sternly, instructing Harry perfectly.

Harry lead his eyes towards Brads crotch, preparing his knee to knee him. Harry lifted his knee and dug hard into Brad causing him to groan in pain and stumble off. "Harry?!" His mother questioned running to Brads side glaring back at Harry.

"But mum! He was choking me!" Harry said tears coming to his eyes seeing his mum care for some drunk more than her own son, maybe Brad was right she does love him more thought Harry. Going back to his room to get ready for school.

Louis frowned, watching the poor boy crying and throwing his clothes around the room in pain. Harry grabbed out his blade, slicing deep into his thigh. Louis' heart broke in two at the sight of Harry in pain, he wanted to hold him and tell him everything would be ok.

Harry walked to school, his mum didn't even kiss him good bye. He felt truly replaced, he wanted to see Louis but he also didn't from what he had said about him. Harry felt alone and tired, all he wanted to do was sleep.

Walking into his classroom the seat beside his was empty, maybe Louis was late. Harry thought to himself frowning, he wanted the boy with tattoos to comfort him.

(Days passed on)

Still no sign of Louis, Harry sat alone. The funny thing was, Harry never felt lonely, like there was someone sitting beside him. But he saw nothing. But Louis was by his side through everything, he was the one whispering into Harry's thoughts when things got bad.

Harry started missing Louis, his feelings for Louis grew stronger everyday even though he didn't see him. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, thought Harry as his heart pounded at the thought of Louis' small arms wrapping around Harry's larger one.

Louis felt the same, sometimes he would climb through Harry's window and watch him sleep, as creepy as it sounds Louis watched him every step of the way.
