37. Let's Make Purple

So for everyone wondering, Eleanor and Louis are basically back together in the book by this point, I just didn't think a part needed to be included specifically to point that out at the time I originally wrote this.

Cassidy's P.O.V~

I rolled over and instantly regretted that decision when I tumbled off the bed and onto the floor. I groaned, deciding to lay there for a moment, before pulling myself back up onto the bed.

I felt around for my phone and found it halfway underneath Niall's pillow that was still lazily tossed sideways from when he slept over after the nerf gun war two night ago. I pulled it out, revealing two messages and smiled when I saw Niall's new name in my phone.

*From: Cookie Monster:

Good morning, sweetheart. I hope you slept well. Anything you want to do today?*

*From: Sass Mistress:

Ana and I have planned a surprise get together for everyone tonight! It starts at 6 pm and make sure to wear a white t-shirt and plain black shorts, or clothes you don't mind getting a little messy! Can't wait for everyone to see what we have in store!*

I smiled, curious to know what Eleanor and Ana had planned. I hoped it was as fun as the nerf gun war, but maybe not as rigorous as I was still sore from all the running that day. I texted Niall back and told him we should go shopping before liking Eleanor's message she sent me. Niall text back and said he would be over soon to pick me up.

I got up and changed into some black leggings and an olive green tank top. I threw on my black jacket over It before pulling on my olive green nikes. I threw my hair up into a bun and went downstairs when I heard Niall knocking at the door.

Niall drove us to the mall, and it didn't take long for me to find something that I liked when we were in a store.

"Niall, look at this dress," I told him, pulling a beautiful white dress from the rack.

"That would look great on you, babe," He told me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me. He placed his head on my shoulder sweetly.

"You think so?" I asked and he nodded, "I know so."

I wiggled out of his grasp and walked to the dressing room. As I turned to shut the door, I noticed Niall still on my heels, "You know you can't come in with me, right?"

"I would if I could." He smirked, winking at me. I felt my cheeks heat up as I shut the door and locked it.

I slid out of my leggings then my top. My bra could support straps or be strapless, so I disconnected the straps so that they wouldn't show while I tried the dress on. I then slid the dress on over my head.

When I looked up in the mirror, my breath hitched. I looked... wow. I actually really liked this dress on me and for once, I actually felt really beautiful. The lace design dances across my skin and the tightness of the dress made up for the curves I didn't really have. I really loved it.

I stepped out of the dressing room to show Niall who was looking down at his phone. I cleared my throat to get his attention. His head snapped up and his eyes widened, then darkened.

"Damn, baby," he whispered, standing up and walking toward me. He rested his hands on my hips, leaning down to my ear, "You look beautiful."

I kissed him, knowing I was about to hurt his feelings when I once again denied him access to come inside the dressing room with me. I could clearly tell he was excited, but I wasn't about to have my first time in the dressing rooms of Forever 21.
