It's 4am and my mum and dad are leaving for their holiday to spain. I give my mum one last hug. "Make sure my house will be alright after these five weeks okay?" "I'll clean up before you get home" I joke at my dad and give him one last big teddy bear hug. My mum and dad get in the cap. My mum whips away a tear. Nooo please don't cry. They drive away. "Byyyeee mum and dad. See you soon!" I yell at the car driving away from me. I keep waving until I can't see them anymore. I still have school today so I'm going to go back to bed before I have to get up for school.

*RINGGG* saved by the bell. Finally,school is over for today. My brother texted me he would be at our house around 6:30 so I'm going to cook something for them. I grab my phone from my schoolbag and text Ashton. 'Make sure you are hungry tonight. Gonna cook for u :) x'

"Hey Mel! Need a ride?" I look around and find my best guy friend Danny waving at me from his car. "Sure why not." I walk to his car and get in. "How was your day babe?" "Awfull, but it will get better as my brother is getting home today and he is bringing his bandmates over for five weeks" "Sounds cool" He smiles at me. "I'm I still allowed to come over for a sleepover or not?" He asks me in his serious voice. "Sure! You know you can always come over and have a wild party" I laugh. "No alcohol for you miss" he says. I can't help it I'm only 15 years old, he is 17 so what? "You know I'll drink something no matter what. That's what you get when most of your friends are older than you" I say at him in my serious voice. "So now you are blaming me?" "Yes" we both start laughing like crazy.

After 5 minutes of laughing and joking around with Danny he drives up my drive way. "Here you go sweety" he laughs at me. "Thankyou so much" I give him a kiss on his cheek like I always do. "I get out of the car and walk to my front door and open it with my key. I wave at Danny driving away and walk inside. I drop my schoolbag in the hallway and walk thru the living room to the kitchen. I get myself something to drink and walk back to the living room. After a few nips of my drink my phone starts buzzing in my bra. You have to put it somewhere, right? I check my phone and it's a new message from Danny. 'Hi babe, shall I pick you up tomorrow morning?' Aw that's really sweet of him. 'Sure! Thankyou, I'll be waiting on my drive way around 7:45' I send it and leave my phone on the table next to the love seat I'm sitting on. I look straight at the clock on the other side of the living room. 5:58. I just have to wait till my brother is here and then I'll start cooking. I snap out of my thoughts as my phones buzzes on the side table. One new message from Danny. 'Okay Miss Irwin. Your personal chauffeur will be waiting for you ;)' He is such a sweet guy. But he is more like my brother, not boyfriend material. As I get a bit bored I grab my longboard from the hall way and walk outside to the backyard. We have a pool and I longboard a few errands around it before I walk back in. I still have some learning to do for my longboarding skills but this is the beginning. I put my longboard back from where I got it and drop my body on the love seat again.
