Three assassins were gathered in a dark valley. "We need another Penitus Oculatus agent on our side, any suggestions?" a soft female voice said. "What about Commander Maro's assistant? Sam says she's tired of her job" a deep male voice said. The third voice said "Indeed she is. Astrid, will you welcome her?" The female answered in a low satisfied voice "Recruiting members, my specialty"

The cold country Skyrim was mostly covered in coniferous forests. Tundra covered the very north and steppe the very south.

The Emperor Titus Mede the second had his own organization for security and scheduling. The organization was called the Penitus Oculatus. The Penitus was the ideal protection service, even the dragons that roamed the Skyrim was no threat to them.

Solitude, the capital of the Skyrim was where the Emperor lived, in his castle. The Penitus Oculatus head office was also located in Solitude close to the castle.

Commander Maro sat in his office surrounded by agent and stressed guards. They were gathered to discuss the security plans of the Emperor's upcoming events. Commander Maro was in charge of the organization, ha had been for many years. He was a busy man and couldn't trust anyone else with his tasks and missions. Except for his assistant Rhila, she was the only one allowed to help him.

During Maro's leadership many bandits and criminals attacked the Penitus Oculatus living halls and offices but Maro had not once failed to protect the Emperor or the organization. While Penitus agents could be severely injured in attacks, very few agents died in battle.

Commander Maro was a lone wolf, he had no wife or children. He lived dedicated to his work. For his assistant Rhila he was forever grateful, otherwise he would not manage the massive amount of work. She had told him to let someone else take care of the recruiting of new members, as it takes a lot of time but isn't too profitable, but Maro had refused.

Many had tried to convince him not to bury himself in work, but stubborn as he was, he never even considered leaving his work to anyone else. His assistant Rhila had worked with the Penitus Oculatus for seven years, enjoying the different missions and tasks. She was a honest and trustworthy person. But as she'd been promoted to Maro's assistant one year ago, there was no longer any exciting missions, only paperwork, deliveries and sometimes watching the Emperor's boring meetings.

Another downside to the promotion was the new threat. As assistant she knew about the newest security plans and schedules that were not available to other agents. She'd been captured twice in only a year. Both kidnappers had wanted the same thing, information.

The work was even more tiring and less profitable than before. She thought of quitting quite often but always came to the same conclusion; she could not abandon Commander Maro in his pile of eternal work, besides, she would have a hard time finding a new job.
