A tale of betrayal

I lost

As my vision returns to normal. My eyes gleams with hope at the thought of me being free, then that glimmer is crushed as I discover I am back in my old cell the cold metal door, the dirty floors and the blank grey walls. Yep same room as always... I'm never getting out. I will always wined up in this room. As Sam would say... this is my starting point. My heart sinks, why? What have I done to deserve this? Why does Sam and his friends torture me like this? I hear a loud bang from outside the door, could it be? Could it be someone to rescue me? Someone to pull me out of hell.

"Hello is anyone there?" I ask quietly with a sense of hope in my voice. My throat is sore as a result of a lack of water. As I speak my throat scratches like someone is clawing out of my mouth.

The door creeps open slowly. My whole body fills with anticipation. My face lights up, my eyes fill with joy. I feel a sense of freedom. Please be my savour my hero save me from hell...please...please.

"Zoe"

Yes that's me hello take me away from here please. Who is it? Who will be my savour?

"Hello who is there?"

"Don't get your hopes up Zoe it's just us" Says Tyler mockingly.

As the two minions walk in I feel my sides tighten where they impaled me. Memories come flooding back, I can't control the urge to trough a punch at Tyler! But, I'm too weak. I collapse onto the dirt covered floor. They laugh at the sight of me limp and lifeless. 

"What is going on?" Sam mutters as he enters the room. 

He must of heard me crash to the floor. Sam forces me up of the ground checking if I was injured. Our eyes connect, for a moment I forgot he was my captor and I saw him as my innocent best friend again. We stare at each other. Not breaking our gaze we stand, two people stuck in time then Sam's facial expression changes it seems he is fighting him self. Then I snap into reality as soon as he speaks.

"You failed Zoe"

"What?
"It's over you lose"

Maybe he is letting me go.This is it I'm free! But then... they all pull out masks made of skin. In union they tilt there heads bringing out a knife from there backs. As one they step towards me slowly stalking there prey. This is when I realise I await a sinister fate.
