A tale of betrayal

Run!

As they creep towards me my heart starts to race, my head is spinning. Will I make it? Is this the end? I ask myself during the little time I have left before they catch me. I turn to the wall to see if there is any possible way out...Tyler grabs my left shoulder, pulling me back. I trip and fall to the floor. This is it I tell myself. I try to crawl away but Sam grasps my ankles. I try to release myself from his grip. But, he is to strong for my weakened body. Yet I still try to squirm my way out of his grip. I kick Sam in the jaw for a moment he realises me, this is my shot. I instantly stand and start to run then sprint.

My vision is blurred by a light. I look to my right...a door leading out of here. I run towards the door. Flinging the door open I am momentarily blinded from the bright lights.

I know where I am. This is the old abandoned factory just outside of town. He was keeping me so close to town and no one thought to look here. 

I don't waste any more time questioning the authority in my town. I continue running. As I look back Sam, Tyler and Leo run trough the door, they look around for a while trying to find me. Maybe they won't see me if I hide in the bushes. As I crouch in the bush they look in my direction I'm not sure if they saw me but I don't care.

Suddenly, I hear sirens. Finally, I'm safe I'm going to live. As I look over the bush to see where the police cars are. 

Sam come bursting trough the bush. Leo and Tyler following him.

"Goodbye Zoe it's been fun" says Sam laughing like a demon. They all pull out a knife.

I back up, but I hit a tree I'm surrounded there's no where to go... no where to run.
