Sugarcoat gazed down over the academy's front. She wished she had left to go to Canterlot high, just as Twilight had. She felt bad. The other shadowbolts had moved on without her, to compete against other schools and create more magically powered horsehumans.
"I wish I had made better choices. I wish there was a way to put everything right," she whispered as she saw the first star of the night. She closed the curtains of her dormitory and went to sleep.
