CHAPTER SIX: TSUBAUKI

"Okay. You get some rest."

"I will Vinet." I let myself fall into a sleep like state for the duration of their runs. When they were done I changed into my clothes and walked back to the castle. I noticed Zach standing at the door tapping his foot as he glared at me.

"I said five minutes. Not an hour!" I glared at him.

"Do you have two animals?"

"No."

"So you don't understand that my animals need to run more than your wolf!" Zach growled at me. "Don't you dare growl at me. You are a grown man. Don't growl at me." I repeated after he growled at me again. "Stop. It. I'm not going to talk to you like this." I pushed my way past him and nodded at the two men that he had by the door now.

"Tsubauki!" Instead of heading towards the bedroom I walked towards the dining room, knowing that the kitchen was beside it. I had looked at the map before heading to lunch so I wouldn't get lost if I walked back to the bedroom by myself. I listened to Zach barking out orders for the two men that were standing in front of the door to find me. I cast a spell that allows me to hide my scent and kept walking to the kitchen. As I got closer to the kitchen I started to hear someone humming. I poked my head around the corner to see who was humming. Headmaster Korvick stood by the counter humming as he made a sandwich. There was heavy footsteps coming down the hall so I dashed into the kitchen and hid under the table.

"What are you doing, Tsubauki?" Korvick's voice filled my head.

"Hiding from Zachariah's men." Headmaster Korvick sighed.

"Why?"

"I'm mad at Zachariah."

"Okay. Why did he send his men after you? That makes no sense."

"I know! But He sent them after me because I walked away from him."

"What'd he do to piss you off?"

"He growled at me."

"You know you can tell me the full truth. I'm not going to judge."

"Okay. Well we got pizza brought up to his room-"

"Your room."

"Yeah, whatever. Anyway He was grumpy after the pizza got brought to the room. He changed his clothes and went and burned them as far as I know. When he left I went and had a shower. Zach didn't show up and I had a long shower- so I ate and went to bed. When he came back he slammed the bedroom door shut like he did with the bathroom one when he went into the bathroom. But he was scaring me and my animals so I left to go for a run. He caught me leaving and said that I had five minutes to run. Which let me tell you is not near enough time to let both of my animals run. Anyway I came back an hour later and he started getting mad at me. When I told him that I need more than five minutes to run he growled at me. So I walked away, and ended up here."

"Yeah.... I don't know what to tell you."

"If he is still like this tomorrow I want to go back to school."

"Okay."

"Is the princess here?" A masculine voice asked from the door way making me tuck myself farther under the table.

"Do you smell her in here?"

"Well, no. But we were told she can hide her scent."

"Huh. I didn't know that, but she's not in here. I hope you find her soon." Headmaster Korvick lied.

"Uh. Thank you your highness."

"Oh there is no need to call me that. Headmaster Korvick works just fine."
