Windshield wipers wiped away the rain that was pouring down on a tour bus. The driver sighed, it was hard enough to drive at night, but with the rain was making it impossible to see. He just couldn't catch a break. Paul Higgins, one of the 6 the driver was transporting, came up towards the front of the bus to see how everything was going, since the other 5 were sleeping.

“How's it looking up here Tom?” Paul asked looking out on the highway, only to see nothing. Tom shook his head,

“Not good Paul. I can't see anything 5 feet in front of me.” Tom replied. Paul sighed, what was he gonna do now? The boys were banking on being at the beach in less than 3 hours. But seeing as the weather wasn't gonna light up, he was gonna let them down. He sighed, running a hand through his hair, what else could go wrong? That's when the tour bus's engine decided to make popping noise's, making Tom pull over. Luckily there was a gas station right there, so he pulled in there, under their roof. Smoke piled out of cracks as Tom turned off the bus. He unhooked his seat belt, only to outside and put the hood up on the bus. Tom coughed as he backed away from the black smoke cloud that was released.

“Just our luck..” Tom mumbled, heading back into the bus, leaving the hood up.

“What's the damage, Tom?” Paul was afraid to ask. He didn't have time for this.

“The transmission blew. So we are stuck here for a bit, unless you know someone who can tow us. Cause I sure don't.” Tom replied, taking a seat in the driver seats. Paul started to pace, did he know someone who had a tow truck? And where they close by? He continued to pace for 10 minutes before they heard one of the doors open. Paul snapped his head over to the noise, only to see a half asleep, shirtless Niall.

“What's going on?” Niall noticed they weren’t moving along with the bus's hood was up. Paul and Tom glanced at each other. Should they tell him? It would be only fair.

“The bus blew the transmission, so we are stuck here.” Paul explained to the now wide awake Niall. Niall whined, he really wanted to be at the beach in the morning. Paul sighed at his childishness. Since when he was a manager for whining children? What happened to the five 19-21 year olds? Niall flopped onto the small couch.

“Aren't there any towing services around here?” The blonde member asked from the couch. The both grown men shook their heads. Niall let his head hit the back of the couch and stared at the ceiling. Guess they weren't going to the beach after all. That's when Paul remembered his niece lived around this area. Maybe she would help them out. With that in thought he got off the bus, taking his phone out of his pockets, and making a call. Tom and Niall glanced at each other, who was he calling?

Paul dialed the number of his niece, hoping she didn't change it. He started pacing, knowing the two in the bus where watching him. Pressing the call button, he got anxious. But after two rings, someone picked up on the other line.

Why are you calling me at 3am, Uncle Paul?” He breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't get it changed.

“I need help, the bus's transmission blew. I was hoping you would help us out? Whatcha say kiddo?” Paul hoped she would help out, she was his last and only hope. A sigh was heard on the other line and he knew she was thinking about it.
