"Hey guys!" I said swinging open Sam and Colby's apartment door.
"Hey y/n! But it's only me, Sam went over to Luke and Mikeys apartment to help them out with some stuff" Colby explained
"Oh ok, well I guess it's just you and me tonight" I said plopping myself on the couch, next to Colby.
"Wai- actually never mind, I'm playing next!" I cut myself of, and instead just decided to play kingdom of hearts with him.
"Ahah ok but you better not loose for me" Colby said still holding his DS as he nudged my arm with his shoulder.
"Pfft pleaseeee Colbs, I got this" I said nudging him back while smirking. We kept on playing kingdom of hearts for awhile, but then we decided to watch a movie. I was going to start the movie, and Colby would get snacks and drinks.
"Ok all done" I yell into the kitchen as I sat back on the couch. Colby walked over to the couch with a bag of chips and some Oreos in his other hand. I smiled at him as he walked over to me. When Colby sat down, he sat a lot closer to me than before, we were so close that I could feel his pants rub against my thigh. I didn't mind that much because we were like best friends, but I just wondered why. Durning the movie, I got kinda cold, which caused a shiver up my spine and for my hands to shake a little. Colby noticed this, so he grabbed the blanket to the side and wrapped his arms and the blankets around me.
"Thanks Colbs" I said moving into his chest a little.
"Anything for you princess" Colby whispered, but then I suddenly felt his body tense up. Did he just say that?
"Fuck.." Colby said under his breath.
I felt him blushing in embarrassment, but he shouldn't be embarrassed, it was cute. I kinda liked Colby and I being so close, I felt warm in his presence.
"Colby.." I said moving out of his embrace to look into his eyes.
"Why didn't you go with Sam.." I asked slowly trailing off.
"Well, uh, I uh, need to tell you something y/n" Colby stuttered as he scratched the back of his neck. I didn't reply so Colby could continue.
"I didn't go because I wanted to stay here and hang out, with you." He continued on as his eyes widen with confidence.
"But why? We always hang out, we could've taken a rain check" I asked turning my attention more towards him.
"No, WE never hang out, you, me and Sam always hang out. I just wanted to be with you, alone." Colby spoke, staring at my with his ocean blue eyes.
"Colby... I never knew you felt this way" "I've liked you for awhile now too" I said looking down at my lap. Colby cupped the side of my face with one hand and lifted it up. We tipped foreheads as Colby asked,
"Will you be mine?" I couldn't even speak, I was too in the moment. Colby's thumb started rubbed my chin, as it slowly made its way to my lips. He slightly pulled down my bottom lip, as he stared at my lips hungrily, then back at my eyes. Are we gonna kiss? Is this real?!
As Colby moved his thumb away, he began slowly leaning in, and so did I.   Our lips fit together perfectly, as chills ran throughout my whole body, I felt a thousand amazing butterflies in my stomach, and a warm, comforting feeling enter me. I just couldn't really explain it any better than that. Do I really love him?
Colby pulled away from the kiss slightly. "You didn't answer my question" Colby said, as our lips were barely parting. I grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him for another kiss. I released from our kiss and said, "Does that answer your question?" While smirking.
"Well I guess it does, babe" Colby said while bringing me into a side hug. Babe. He called me babe!
That's how I started dating one of my best friends Colby brock.
