Ross

I woke up to see Laura laying next to me still asleep in an angelic state. Her hair was spread out all around her, and her side was curled tightly into mine. I smiled happily down at her peaceful form, I don't think I could be any happier than I am right now.

I pried myself away from her trying very carefully to not wake her, and trudged over to the sink in her dorm room grabbing my spare toothbrush from the cabinet and beginning to brush my teeth. After a few moments of rinsing and spitting I went back over and sat next to her sleeping body and switched on the tv.

"Ross?" Laura mumbled groggily, her eyes fluttering gently open.

"Yeah, what's up princess?" I whispered gently as I turned towards her.

"I- I don't feel so well..." She managed to stutter out before gagging lightly and quickly jumping out of bed and emptying the contents of last nights food from her stomach into the small sink.

I quickly got up and rushed over to her and held her hair back. "Laur, it's ok, it's alright." I whispered gently rubbing her back as she finished throwing up. She grabbed her toothbrush and began to brush her teeth ferociously.

After she finally finished brushing her teeth she spoke up. "My stomach feels gross."

I felt her forehead to check for a fever, but I felt nothing except that it was cold and slightly sweaty. "Well you don't have a fever." I said watching as she clutched her stomach in agony, "Is it like your time of the month or something?"

"No." She groaned running a hand through her hair which was getting matted to her forehead.

"Well, you definitely can't go to class today." I said pulling her gently towards the bed and letting her sit down before going over to Rydel's dresser and pulling out a ziplock bag filled with painkiller bottles. I finally found the one I was looking for and gave it to Laura along with some water.

"No!" She said after she swallowed the pill down, "I have to go! I don't want to miss anything!" Laura started the get out of bed, but quickly sat back down and clutched her stomach. "Or not." She mumbled defeatedly.

"It's ok, I'll stop by all your classes and pick up whatever work you need and I'll let all your teachers know that you're sick, but you just need to stay right where you are for the rest of today until you feel better, okay?" I gently kissed the top of her head and smiled.

"Ok fine." She sighed smiling at me before pulling the covers tightly around her body and putting on some Netflix.

"Bye babe I'll come see you for lunch." I smiled pecking her lips before grabbing my bag off the floor and leaving to go to class.

"Bye." I heard her call weakly before I shut the door behind me.

"So Shor, how's your precious little girlfriend?" I heard Eddie ask as he approached me with Luke following behind him like a lost puppy.

"She's sick, and I actually need to go see her, so if you'll get the fuck out of my way..." I said trying to push past him, but he stopped me.

"Oh, so she is sick." Eddie turned to smirk at Luke before turning back to me with a grin, "I suppose she puked her guts out this morning and is laying in bed now with a stomach ache." He said with an evil glint in his eye.
