Chapter 5: The Ways Of The Clan

Ive been stalking the pine twins all day. So they are the chosen ones aren't they? Of course they are! They've been getting in the way of all my plans! And they DO know me! So now they are Warriors. Just great! I only pushed them into this demension to get the out of my way. Pintree wasn't supposed to grab my hand! Big Things are coming, hey have no idea who they're dealing with. Let's see if i cut down a particular Pinetree, or make a ShootingStar fall

A cat named ThunderStripe (a cat i made up)  was the pine twins guide of the warrior code and half mentor. " Our clan does somehting called the hunter's crouch." He smelled prey. "Do you smell that?"

"Eww its smells like mouse!" BrightLight wispered.

"Thats because it is mouse" BigDip Said

"Watch my demostration. Ok?" ThunderStripe did the hunter's crouch. After a few seconds he jumps on the mouse and kills it. "See? Your turn BrightLight" 

"Ok! this looks easy enough" BrightLight said She smelled a vole.

"She's gonna fail", BigDip wispered to ThunderStripe

BrightLight Fell into the hunter's crouch position. Suprisingly to BigDip she went quick as a cheeta and caught the vole. She bit it and the vole died. She was a very good hunter and runner. He could tell why she was one of the chosen.

 ThunderStripe gazed at his sister with admiration. Did ThunderStripe like BrightLight? BigDip shook that thought off his head. "My Turn" BigDip said. "By the way BrightLight, you did great" Big Dip said.

"Thanks!" BrightLight said and went to stand by ThunderStripe. 

When BigDip tried he was a lot slower but he still caught a mouse. 

"Nice Catch" BrightLight said 

"Thanks but can we eat ThunderStripe" BigDip asked pleadingly.

"No BigDip. We feed the clan first than we eat" ThunderStripe said.

After a long day of hunting BrightLight caught the prey, "mmmm..... these smell good" she said

They stacked the prey on the prey pile and went to the warriors den. After a while it was time to eat. The 2 siblings stared at the mouse.  "Are you sure its good?" BrightLight asked  

"Yess for the last time!", CloudTail exclaimed. BrightLight took a bite out of it. She looked at BigDip as he took a bit out of it to. "Wow! This tastes amazing"

Then ThunderStripe came towards us. "Hi BrightStar! I have been meaning to ask you something."

"Ok. What is it" 

"I want to go on a patrol with you." ThunderStripe said 

After BigDip heard this he thought, Ohh gosh no

"Sure! Let's go. Bye BigDip." BrightLight said excitedly

"Bye, i guess", BigDip muttered
