Chapter 6: The Patrol

Mabels Pov

"Sure! Lest go. Bye BigDip" I said. As ThunderStripe and I left the camp, i felt a little excited. Yess! My first patrol. I thought quietly to myself. We went to look around Snake Rocks. Then Sunning Rocks. Then all the borders. It was nice to have some company. Then I felt weird again. Someone was following me. Again!

" Hey ThunderStripe stay here. I want to get a drink water" I said.

"Ok", ThunderStripe said "Just don't go to far"

"Kk" I said back. I walked to the river then I froze.

"Hello... Shooting Star." The cat said

"Bill" I said with a little fear in my voice. Then again i said "Bill!" but with anger.

"Oh no don't call Bill. Call me YellowStar" YellowStar snarled "Leader of Shadow Clan."

I gasped "H-How?"

"Don't be rediculious ShootingStar. Im a demon" YellowStar said. "All i had to do was kill BlackStar."

Anger bubbled up in me. I flung at YellowStar and clawed his face. I also bit his neck. They cuts i gave him instantly healed. "W-What?!" 

"I told you Shooting Star i am a demon." YellowStar hissed.

"Hey BrightLight I hear alot of commotion whats happening?" ThunderStripe came toward us fighting cats. 

"Go Back!" I yowled, but unfortunaly while i was destracted YellowStar bit my leg. I fell and he bit me again but in the neck. Everything went black after that. The last thing i heard was ThunderStripe gasp.

"You foolish girl, you honestly thought you could defeat me" he laughed demonicly and ran back into his territorry.

ThunderStripes Pov

"Wake up BrightLight! Please wake up!" i yowled. I put my head on her soft belly. She was still breathing! Well staying here untill help arrived will do nothing. I grabbed her pelt and dragged her to the clan. "Help! I yowled" FireStar was the first one to get out of his den. He was horrified at the sight.

"Who did this!" FireStar demanded. 

"I-I dont know." I stampered. Then BigDip came running.

"No No No No! Mabel, Mabel wake up please." BigDip said

"Her name is BrightLight" DustPelt said staring at her.

"Do you think i care! Mabel was her oringinal name and i can call her it if i want!" BigDip had anger in his eyes. DustPelt instantly shut up. 

"Take her to CinderPelt!" FireStar said to me. 

"Yes Sir" I said and obeyed. Her eyes were still closed.

Oh no this is all my fault. If only i hadn't distracted her. I said to myself. A tear fell down from my eye. My fault
