"Why are we moving again?" I asked. "Your father just got a major job offer sweetie. We need to move right away so that he definitely gets the job," my mom replied, sounding rather annoyed. I said nothing, knowing that I wouldn't be able to change anything. At least my friend, Lisa, was coming with us. Her family also got a job offer, but not as big as ours. "It was such a coincidence that our families were offered jobs at the same time!" I told Lisa. She looked at me and smiled, nodding her head. We both walked over to our old apartments with our families, stared at our houses, and shut the front door one last time.
