Katherine P.O.V
I stood in the school bathroom and held my crucifix in my hand. I looked around and then looked into the mirror, and I unscrewed the crucifix and snorted cocaine. Suddenly a stall door opened and I quickly screwed the crucifix shut.
It was no one other than Audrey Riveran.
I looked in the mirror and pretended to not know her, I fixed my hair, looked at my make up, and avoided eye contact. She squinted at me and walked up next to me.
"Do I know you?" She asked me. I looked to her and then back at myself in the mirror.
"I don't think so." I answered as I fixed my hair.
"Your face is so familiar." Audrey shook her head. "Oh I know, you're Harry Styles' step-sister..."
"In the flesh." I said with a smile.
"You were all over newspapers and new stations, it was like you were a celebrity." Audrey said and I nodded.
"You do know me, then." I smiled then I scowled at her, I wasn't interested in talking to the bitch.
"I'm so sorry for your loss. My name is Audrey Riveran, I'm the daughter of the headmaster..." She told me. "How are you taking the death of your brother?"
"Step-brother." I corrected her. "I'm doing fine."
"Well, if you need a friend, I'm here, ok? My Instagram name is audrey_r08." Audrey told me.
"What's the 8 for?" I asked out of curiosity.
"I had a bad break-up in August, and August is the 8th month of the year." Audrey said and I went cold.
"Anyway, like I said, if you need a friend, I'm here." Audrey said and walked to the door.
"I'll be fine." I said coldly and she gave me a look. Then suddenly a smile spread on my face. That was so strange to me, the purest and happiest girl in school scowling? She didn't know who I was, so it was strange she'd even do that.
I walked out to the chapel where the whole student body sat. I was welcomed to the stage to make a speech. I walked up to a picture they had of Harry and pulled out my famous crucifix and kissed it. I wrapped it around my hand and stepped up to the podium. I look out at all the sad faces in the crowd, people who didn't even know Harry were mourning him.
Idiots.
I looked around but I couldn't see little Cecile in the freshman section of the Church at all, neither could I find Audrey. They both were probably crying in a bathroom somewhere, they both had relations with Harry.
As I began my speech, I had tears in my eyes and my crucifix wrapped around my fingers. They all listened intently, my time to shine was now more than ever before.
"It's been a month since I lost my step-brother. Life has felt like it is practically unlivable, and the sorrow I feel inside is unbearable. Many people didn't personally know my brother, even some of his closest friends. Many people didn't understand him, but I feel, I truly did. It's truly sad we have to start out the year this..." I said and I was rudely interrupted by a girl in her uniform that wasn't even tailored properly walking down the isle.
"It's truly sad we..." I began again but all she did was stand on the side of a pew in the Senior section and whisper into her friends ear. "Excuse me? How rude."
Her friend whispered to the next person, and that person whispered to the next. Eventually it looked like the kids in the pew were playing a game of telephone.
Then a freshman ran in and ran over to the freshman's and whispered something. They all began talking among themselves.
"Where are your manners?" I asked in anger. It was the first day of school, so even parents were at that ceremony, and everyone was either watching, talking or snickering.
Eventually the students began to stand up and run outside of the chapel.
"Are you serious? Where do you think you're going?" I asked in anger as they all ran out. Suddenly half of the chapel ran out, and I decided to follow the crowd.
When I walked outside a whole bunch of students were reading little booklets. There were hundreds of them and they all read booklets together. They all gasped and stared at the pages.
"What are you doing?" I asked angrily and suddenly out of the crowd I saw Cecile. She smirked at me and handed out more booklets, she had a whole pile in her hands. "Cecile, you stop that right now!"
Then, Audrey walked up to me. She had a copy of these booklets people read, and she smirked at me. Her head was held high as she handed me one, and I read the cover of it.
CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE DIARY OF HARRY STYLES
A DETAILED
story of my personal journey
into MANHOODMy eyes widened once I read the cover and I quickly opened it. I saw a drawing of my crucifix on the first page. I skimmed through the page.
Katherine...crucifix...cocaine...
I was shocked, I turned the page and saw multiple pictures of me and of funny quotes cascaded all over the page. I saw one picture of me in particular that read "I'm a bitch" in bold print letters. It was an exact copy of every single page. There were pictures of me with rude things written around it, deceitful, bitch, whore, coke problem.
A tear fell down my cheek as Audrey's father came up next to me and lifted my wrist that I had my crucifix wrapped around. He twisted the bottom of it and cocaine poured from inside of it. He scowled at me and shook his head.
The diary I always criticized and made fun of, the diary I swore that would never truly mean anything to me, suddenly ruined my whole reputation in the matter of minutes.
And that was Audrey Riveran's triumph.
