NOTES!

Since this is the tenth chapter, I thought we could celebrate it by having another P.O.V.! Enjoy reading!

Beyoncé’s P.O.V.

I was relaxing with my little Blue in my dressing room. Suddenly my dance captain Ashley called me and told me I had to go to her dressing room within 15 minutes; she said Zendaya was there. When Blue and I got there, Blue immediately ran – yeah, she’s almost 18 months old now, but she can run – to a teen girl, I think that was Zendaya, who sat in a chair. She seemed nice to me, and so did Blue think. Blue gave her a hug and yelled “Hey!”. Zendaya turned around and I could see she was shocked to see it was my beautiful daughter. “Blue Blue!” She yelled out of excitement. “She’s cute, isn’t she?” I asked her. Zendaya turned around and when she faced me her face turned red and she started crying. I see this so many times, but it stays cute and it still gives me a guilty feeling. But I can understand it: A few years ago I got to perform for my biggest inspiration Michael Jackson. I could see him from the stage, but the audience couldn’t see him. When it was my turn to sing, I couldn’t help but just scream as loud as possible. I don’t think the audience knew that I screamed because of Michael, they just thought I was being weird me.

Anyways, when Zendaya cried my cute little Blue gave Zendaya another, but tighter hug and asked “Why cry you?” It was adorable to see Blue trying to comfort Zendaya. “Hey, I guess you are Zendaya,” I said walking towards her and also giving her a hug. “H-h-how d-do…how d-d-do,” she started. “We’ll tell you AFTER the concert,” I said. “Trevor and I,” I said when Zendaya looked at me with a strange face. Zendaya was about to hyperventilate, so I passed her some water and she gave me a ‘thank you’-kinda face. “Concert?” She asked when she was a little better. “Yeah, you’re at my concert….and in the Bey Stage!” I told her. “WHAT?! THE VIP STAGE?!” she yelled. I started laughing. “Yes, you’re watching from the VIP stage,” I told her. The Bey Stage is a special stage I go to halfway the show and it’s a circle with in the middle my Bumble Beys who have VIP tickets. “Thank you so much,” Zendaya whispered crying and motioning for Trevor and me to come to hug her.

After we tried to have a conversation I had to get ready for my concert, my mom, Tina – who is also my stylist – helped me to get in my first outfit. My hair was already done and I had to put on some make-up. I usually do my make-up myself, even for performances. Though there is a make-up artist – Sir John – for my female dancers and female band. The people on stage are mostly women. I have only two male twin dancers; Laurent & Larry Bourgeois, professionally known as Les Twins.

When I was done, I decided to go back to Ashley’s room, where Zendaya was. When I got there I heard someone call: “Auntie Bey Bey!” That must be my nephew Julez! When I looked back I saw Solange, my sister, with Julez. I hugged them both and I introduced them to Zendaya and Trevor, who were cuddling. They’re so cute. Zendaya tried to hold her tears when I introduced them to her. Suddenly Julez started to sing the song he wrote for my little Blue when I was pregnant.

Blue, Blue, Blue
I’m so in love with you
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I wanna hold you
And kiss you
So hurry up and get out of there quickly, Blue

Halfway the song Zendaya started to sing along with Julez. I was surprised she knew the lyrics. I guess she has seen my documentary ‘Life Is But A Dream’ loads of times. Then Julez started to sing the song again, but changed the lyrics.

Zen, Zen, Zen
I’m so in love with you
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I wanna hug you
And dance with you
So hurry up and dance with me, Zendaya

“Aaaaaaawww,” everyone said. Zendaya’s eyes started to fill with tears of joy. She hugged Julez tight and thanked him for the song. “Sooooo,” she started. “Shall we dance?” Zendaya asked. “Yeahhh,” Julez answered. “What kind of dance?” she asked Julez. “Do you know the dance to Run The World?” I asked them. “Yeah,” they both answered. Julez loves to dance and knows some of the show’s dances. My drummer girl Cora Coleman-Dunham was there and started banging on the table, my guitarist Bibi McGill was there as well and played the guitar – of course – while I started singing Run The World. They started dancing and Ashley and I joined them. Wow, both of them knew the dance pretty well. Zendaya is so talented.

“What other dances of the tour do you know, Zendaya?” I asked her. “Hmmm, I guess I know each dance,” she said with her face turning red. “Shall we dance to End of Time?” I asked her. “That would be amazing,” she replied. Cora started drumming on the table and Zendaya and I started dancing. She’s super talented! “Time to warm up and send a prayer to our Father,” I said after we danced.

Zendaya’s P.O.V.

Wow, I cannot believe I just danced with my lifetime idol Beyoncé and Julez! Bey thinks I’m a good dancer, yay! I’m so grateful for what happened today, though Trevor and Beyoncé got a lot to explain to me. I don’t care what happened, I’m just so excited. I still feel like I’m walking on clouds so every now and then I ask someone to pinch my arm so I know I’m not dreaming.

“Hey baby,” I heard. Beyoncé and I turned around and then saw Jay. Beyoncé ran into his arms, too cute. “I missed you,” Beyoncé said pecking his lips. “Daddy!” Blue Ivy yelled. Jay walked to Blue and lifted her and then hugged her in the air. They’re so cute.

I love Jay so much, my eyes started to tear up for I guess like the thousandth time today. Beyoncé whispered something in Jay’s ear facing me. Jay walked up to me and my heart started beating so fast. “Hi Zendaya,” he said. “Nice to meet you,” he continued reaching me a hand. I ignored his hand and hugged him. He hugged back. “I-I guess all my dreams came true in one day,” I said almost tearing up.

Beyoncé’s crew was warming up. Only fifteen minutes before the show would start they would send good Lord a prayer. I couldn’t be there since I had to go to the Bey Stage. I told the crew to have a great time and I wished them good luck. “Break a leg,” I told them. “Thanks,” they answered. “Enjoy the show,” they said. “I’m sure I will,” I answered.
