I've been at Kip's house for two weeks now; I've been visiting my Uncle more frequently also. Everything has been great for such a surprising surprise in the beginning. I heard Kip walking down, "You know, you should come with me next week?" He asked while walking to me on the couch.

"Where? On tour?" I asked while smiling

"Ya! Why not?" He smiled back

"I'm speechless, I really don't know."

"Well, you have plenty of time to think. Come on, I have a lunch reservation for us." He stood up and held out his hand. I smiled and took it, and then my phone started to ring.

"Hold on." I grabbed my phone and answered it, "Hello?" It was an unknown number.

Hi, this is Grey Longsome. Am I speaking to Jasmyn Martin, Sam Martin's niece?

"Yes, is everything okay?" I asked while I took my hand out of Kip's and sat down.

I think it would be better if we spoke in person.

"Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can." I hung the phone up, I wasn't sure what the hell was going on but it scared the hell out of me.

"Jazz, what's wrong?" Kip asked.

"I need you to take me to the hospital right now." I got up and went outside to his truck and got in the passengers, and then Kip came out and got into the driver's. He drove to the hospital like I asked, we got to the hospital and we basically ran in.

"Hi my name is Jasmyn Martin; I need to see Sam Martin right away."

As she was about to say something, someone else came into the situation. "Ms. Martin? I'm Grey Longsome, the person you spoke to on the phone."

"Hi, what's wrong?"

"Ms. Martin, it seems like his heart is functioning too much, his blood pressure is too high and there is something in the brain that we don't even know what it is."

I was speechless, nothing came to mind, and words were not coming out.

"I'm really sorry to say this, but I would say goodbyes today." He walked away.

Tears started to slide down my face; Kip pulled me into a hug and squeezed me. I started to cry even more, everything was turning out to be great; it was too true to be good. Grey came back and led us to the room, as soon as we got there; he looked even more lifeless than before.

"I'll let you guys have some time." Grey walked out of the room.

I walked over near Sam and held his hand; I sat down on the chair that was near him. He turned his head slowly and looked at me.

"I... love you... so much." He said slowly and softly.

Tears were really coming out, "I love you too." I couldn't believe he was going to be gone at any minute.

The heart rate monitor couldn't detect a heart rate, and then the sound was going off. He breathed out slowly as he was gone. Kip got me and pulled me back as the doctors rushed in, they were doing CPR and everything they could do but nothing brought him back. As I wanted to collapse, Kip held me up as I was screaming No and crying my eyes out. He was actually gone; the doctors said we had to go. All of the doctors said to me, "Sorry for your loss." Kip and I walked out and Kip helped me in the truck, he drove back to his house. He helped me walk inside and walked to the couch; I cuddled up against him and cried until my eyes were puffy. I eventually cried myself asleep, I caused myself so much stress that I passed out.
