You knocked on the door a few times. "Eren?" You whispered. The door opened to reveal a green-eyed boy. He grabbed your hand and pulled you inside the room, closing the door behind you. The lights were off, the only source of being able to see the moonlight that leaked in from the window. He turned and smiled at you, one of those charming smiles that made your heart melt. He quickly pulled you towards him and pressed a kiss to your lips. You smiled against him and pressed back, before pulling away. "I hate having to meet like this." You whispered, setting your head against his collarbone.
Eren sighed and put his head atop yours. "I know but... I just, don't want anyone to know yet." He murmured. You'd put off the questions in your head long enough, for five months exactly, but now you had to know.
"Why do we have to hide?" You asked, pulling away and looking up at him. He opened his mouth to speak, but you cut him off. "Are you ashamed to be seen with me?" You said, giving him a slight glare.
"No, I'm not."
"Do you not love me?" You asked, a hint of desperation in your voice.
He stared at you seriously, then chuckled. He pressed his lips to your forehead. "You're a fool to think I don't love you. I love you with everything I am, or ever will be. And I will love you forever." He whispered against your skin.
You sighed with furrowed brows and tilted your head up so your lips met with his in a gentle kiss. "Why do we have to hide then?" You asked.
He let out an exhale through his nose and pressed you close to him. "Your dad." He whispered softly.
Of course. The only thing stopping you. Not only, was Lance Corporal Levi your father, but he was also extremely protective of you. He would call you his "fragile little flower" and he didn't want anyone to touch you. He barely let you be with your friends, or let you practice your combat. Erwin started forcing him to let you do combat, thank God. He disapproved of any sort of romantic relationship. That's why you'd never had a boyfriend. But you now did, and you wanted to spend your life with him. The only people who knew about it were Armin, Mikasa, and Hanji. Why hadn't you told your father yet? Well, he'd surely disagree with it, and most likely beat up Eren.
"Oh..." You murmured.
"I really want to tell him, because I know how much it means to you to get his approval. But... I really don't want to die." He said with a small chuckle. You let out a small laugh and turned your face to kiss his collarbone. He kissed the top of your head.
"I wish we didn't have to hide..." You muttered.
"Me too..." He said. It was a moment of comfortable silence. He finally pulled away enough to see your (e/c) eyes. "We're not going to anymore." He said. You gave him a confused look. "Tomorrow night, I'm telling him." He said confidently.
"Eren, no you don't have to." You said, worry growing in the pit of your stomach.
"I know, but I want to." He said. He tipped your chin up. "For you." He whispered. He kissed you gently, then pulled away. "See you tomorrow night, after dinner. We'll go to his office together." He softly pushed you out the door.
"Wait, Eren-"
"Goodnight!" He said, then closed the door. You let a small smile adorn your features.
"Why were you in Jaeger's room?" A sharp, familiar voice called. Your eyes widened and you froze for a moment before turning to see your father, with a bored expression as always.
"I was delivering a message from Hanji." You said quickly. Perhaps too quickly.
"What was it?" He asked.
