"Hey Mikasa, can I talk to you?" I jogged up to the dark haired girl, who had stopped in her tracks when I called.
"Of course, (F/n). What is it?" She asked when I was next to her, and we were walking in step together towards the food hall.
I took a deep breath. "It's about Armin."
She smirked. "I should of guessed. Are you finally going to tell him you like him?"
"No, it's not that. Have you noticed him acting a bit, I don't know, strange lately?" I pulled open the doors, the smell of food drifting out into the night. Mikasa walked in first, and I closed the doors behind us with a soft bang.
"No more then usual." She replied.
I sighed as we got our food, and went to sit with the others. When I sat down, Armin wouldn't look at me, he just sat there playing with his food. "Hi Armin." I smiled at him.
"H-hey." He didn't look up as he said it, still focused on his plate.
I shot a look at Mikasa saying 'I told you so', but she just shrugged, digging into her food.
I ate my food silently while the others conversed around me. I had a hard day of training, and I didn't really feel like wasting my energy on talking.
I brought my cup of water up to my lips, drinking out of it while I listened to Jean and Eren get into an arguement.
"You idiot! You're so wrong!" Jean spat.
"No, you are! You don't-"
"I love you, (F/n)!"
I spat out my water all over Sasha, chocking back a gasp as I stared at Armin, shocked. Eren, and Jean had stopped fightening, and the whole table had fallen silent. Armin blushed into his plate.
"I-you, what?!" I stuttered, embarressed. I could feel my cheeks grow hot with a blush. I could not believe it. Had I heard right?
"I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have..." Armin sniffed.
He's...crying?
I stood up, kicking back my chair and leaning across the table. Grabbing his shirt collar, I dragged him towards me, our lips crashing together. I could hear the others cheering as Armin kissed me back happily. When we pulled apart, I smiled at him. "I love you too."
"Aw yeah, Armin! Get some!" Connie yelled.
I picked up a bread roll, throwing it at him and laughing. "Shut up!"
