Maya's pov

We just got to the mall and I see all I people walking around coughing and sneezing. I quickly open my purse and look for my mask and gloves the doctor said I have to wear these in public places.

"Hey Maya why do you have to wear that" said Riley.

"So I can't get sick before i get ready for.... Anyways so I can't get sick" I said.

"What would you need to get ready for" said Lucas.

"It's nothing" I said looking down.

"Maya it's obviously something now tell us what's going on we want to know you left us
Out for 3 years we want to catch up with everything" said farkle looking me in the eye.

"I'm getting surgery this week to remove my tumor but I'm going to be in there for a month to recover and check to see if the cancer comes back" I said to them.

"Oh Maya" was all farkle could say before pulling me into a hug.

"It's fine lets just keep shopping"
I said.

"Okay"'they all agreed with me.

Time skip picnic

Farkle and I were siting on the picnic blanket while Lucas and Riley were running around the park holding hands and kissing.
I wish I had something like that.

"You know your staring right" said farkle picking my shoulder.

"Yeah I just want something like that" I said looking down at my turkey sandwich.

"What do you mean Maya" said farkle.

"Love ....... I want someone I love to actually love me back before i die" I said.

"Well that's going to take some time Maya but you have your whole life ahead of you" said farkle.

"But I don't I'm going to get surgery to remove a tumor growing inside of me that could kill me any minute I don't have time to wait I just want love " I said.

"Okay and I do understand " said farkle

"How your the biggest flirt in 11th grade so many people like you" I said taking a sip of my water.

"But not the one I like" said farkle looking down at his hands.

"Farkle who do you like " I asked.

"wont tell" said farkle.

"Why please tell me who am I going to tell anyways I'm dying" I said.

"No Your Not" said farkle.

"Yes I am farkle" I said back.

"NO YOUR NOT.. I don't want you saying that I want you to be saying I can live through the surgery I just have to fight" said farkle.

"I know but its not as easy said then done" i said.

"i know I just want you to try we all do" said farkle stuttering.

"Farkle I know and I promise I will" I said.

"thank you maya that really does mean a lot" said farkle.

"im sure it does" I said.

"it really does now how about we just sit here while we can before you cant come out here"said farkle.

"okay should we call over riley and lucas" I said.

"no let them have there fun im going to be the third wheel for a while so im going to force them to hang out with me so let them have there fun " said farkle.

"okay you want to go on the swings" I said confidently.

"Maya I would love to go on the swings with you" said farkle.

we walk over to the swings

"its going to be weird not being here" I said.

" well you are going to be here just inside and we will come visit you I promise" said farkle.

"i will make sure of it" said farkle.

"thank you" I said.

"okay you guys lets head back to my house" said riley grabbing the basket.

Time skip sleepover

We were watching a scary movie and eating popcorn. Riley and Lucas were just making out while I was focused on the movie bio could feel farkle staring at me.

"Stop" I said still looking at the movie.

"Stop what" he said back.

"Staring" I said Turing me head towards him.

"I'm not" he said.

"Yes you were" I said.

"Okay maybe a little" he said.

"Ha see told you" I said in victory.

"Yeah whatever" he said pulling me into his lap.

"so why were you staring"I said.

"because I want to see as much of you as I can before you leave " he said .

"its okay I was just creeping me out a little" i said and he laughed a little.
